Be a cuntlovin' fucklove prophetess!
So I'm reading this feminist book that Leslie pointed out to me at the book store the other day, which also happened to be recommended by several people I know from University.
I'm halfway between being a little fond of the writing, and three quarters of the way to wanting to punch the author in the face because she's totally doing that: "Women are better than men, women focused womenly things la la la and men cannot possibly ever make or do or understand anything in a way that's beneficial to women" thing that really pisses me off, because advocating spiritual gender segregation doesn't really do much to promote gender equality.
However, the book is FUN because it's pissing me off. One of the author's arguments about why women are better than men is because they're more efficient at having better, longer and more frequent orgasms. Upon reading this passage to Cat, she exclaimed:
"IT'S NOT A BOSS BATTLE!"
Sometimes I think I'm missing it, y'know. I want to call myself a feminist but- but, I'm sorry. I don't really think women are all that cool. They're just people, like men. Who are also, surprisingly enough, people. I can't really get on this women-worship train. Sry, sisters.
