EDIT: In my very favorite news story of the last month, a judge in Nebraska bans the word "rape" from a rape trial because "rape" is a loaded word.

Apparently, it's for the jury to decide whether the victim was raped or not, so she shouldn't be using the word on the stand herself because it promotes bias.

Okay, awesome! Does that mean that if I'm ever murdered, as long as the jury decides the defendant is innocent, I'm not really dead? OKIE DOKIE! :D
