that's the most metal thing I ever heard.

I watched all of Metalocalypse last night while drawing and was actually pretty impressed. A few people from school got into it months ago and were always subtly needling me to watch it, BUT Y'KNOW. I'M LAZY AND SUCH.

For all it's BRUTAL AND INTENSE BRUTALNESS, it was actually one of the most adorable things I've watched in a long time (mostly on account of the characters all being kind of adorable losers under it all). I'm not sure if I recommend it exactly, but if Heavy Metal and gratuitous violence make you lol, go for it. ♥

BUT HERE IS WHAT ELSE I DREW LAST NIGHT.

Bleeh, I can't draw. Why do I keep trying? I think I might redraw Davy Jones at some point. I spent two and a half hours on Tia, but about fifteen minutes on him just because I wanted to capture the feel of the image before I went to bed and woke up, like, uninspired. Maybe if I redo it, I'll make him all squidy. All I could think of while drawing it, though, was "OH CRAP, DAVY JONES, YOU GOT THE 'IN WATER' ENDING."

I was about to point out all the grevious flaws and mistakes in Tia, but it looks sort of good at first glance, so I'll let you guys find the mistakes on your own.

I STILL can't draw decent eyes on the damn tablet. My art kind of sucks on a technical level, but the one thing I've always been proud of it my ability to draw engaging expression. For some reason everything I've done on the tablet so far has been kind of lifeless. OH WELL. PRACTICE. :D
