THE NEXT LUNCH YOU WILL BE EATING IS... HUMBLE PIE!!!
Uh, yeah.
And the fact that this is from a canon source makes me ridiculously happy:
I'm excited to play the second game, but I also kind of want to savour it what with the third game being mostly not around for the general consumption of an English speaking and reading populace. T____T I'm still patently shocked at how much the game ate my life, but it's shocked in a *good* way- no game's really done that for me since Silent Hill 2 the second time around AND, UH, I AM SORT OF, KIND OF INCAPABLE OF EFFECTIVELY PAYING SH GAMES. :D :D :D :D
Oh, and... yeah- the fifth case definitely got better. I finished it during my lunch break at school today and couldn't help but embarass myself by making shocked exclaimations at the screen because, wtf wtf wtf, that was a fucking thorough conspiracy. Ema irritated me much less by the end, so instead I just got to be annoyed by how much stupider than usual Gumshoe and the Judge were (seriously- what was up with that?)
But now I want to consume text games like water. I should track down that DOS emulator and see if I can find emulators for the games I used to have on my old 386 (Sammy ♥). How have I lived this long without the original Carmen Sandiego!?!?!? :O :O :O
ALSO, ONE OF THOSE RARE BEASTS-- A MUSIC POST!!!!
No insanely long write ups today, just:
Three Classics
The Night - Bruce Springsteen
From 'Born to Run', one of the bestest albums evar.
Funeral for a Friend (Love Lies Bleeding) - Elton John
An epic from 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', another one of the bestest albums evar.
Goodnight Saigon - Billy Joel
A beautiful ballad with the aura of a drinking song. A TEAR INVOKING DRINKING SONG.
Three Not-Quite Rocking, but still pretty Rocking Women
Apres Moi - Regina Spektor
FRENCH TITLES ARE DEFINITELY PRETENTIOUS, AND THIS SONG IS DEFINITELY AWESOME.
Jackey Cane - Hooverphonic
This song has one of those really *heavy*, rolling beats that's almost theraputic. Also, it rocks.
The Fall of the World's Own Optomist - Aimee Mann
There's a lot of soul in this song (I mean that literally- as in the sound "soul"). It also gets stuck in my head for
And Something a Little Slower...
I Promise You Walls - Shiny Toy Guns
Pretty.
AND: Apparently I really like the The Clash. This is something of a surprise to me. O__O
AND AND: Ahahaha, I order Trauma Center from Amazon.ca because I AM WEAK.
