Cornepicus, Gallileo, Aristotle, Bruno ect. would be displeased...

Okay, so we've got Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Oceans and all this uber-Technology stuff that you can take as science credits... why don't we have an Astronomy course??

It's not fair- the only time I've studied the science of the universe (THEORETICAL science at that) was ninth grade academic science class with good ol' Mr. Smith. I've been itching for a full course on the stuff for as long as I can remember.

... even though by now I could practically teach a class on the subject. ^ ^;; Hell, even my screen name is a somewhat obscure (though important) astronomical term.

A Cepheid Variable, by the way folks, is a star that is constantly changing it's properties slightly, giving the apperance that it is "pulsating". Scientist somehow use triangulation with these stars at the top point to figure out the distance between objects in space.
