Listens: Every Heart; BoA

MUSIC DOWNLOAD POST!!!!
A little late this week, but when isn't it? This weeks theme is HAPPY! Every song I upload for you this week will be a song that I've listened to for the better part of my life in order to cheer myself up on my down days. Hopefully, these songs will cheer you up too. XD

A few notes first:

On Gungrave: omgwtfbbqlolololololol. I didn't think... gah... buh... geh... dfuidsfhjdsfhkfh. Nightow stop fucking owning my soul with your awesomeness. Just. No. But suffice to say, Gungrave was one of the finest animated programs I have seen in my life. The mob. Zombies. SO MUCH FREAKING PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EMOTIONAL COMPLEXITY. *SOBZSOBZSOBZ*

On The FMA Plot Twist: What's everyone all in mourning about? That's the most fucking awesome thing that's happened in the entireity of the manga. The only reason I've read the last twenty chapters or so is because of Ling, so. Yeah. Score onemillion for Arakawa. XD

On The Weather: I love waist deep snowdrifts. ♥ So of course it has to rain the day after we get a glorious snow storm. -___-;;

On Editing: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. CHAPTER SEVEN I HAVE DEFEATED YOU. I'VE ONLY RE-WRITTEN YOU FIVE TIMES OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS. NOW YOU HAVE BEEN SLAIN WITH... SLIGHTLY IMPROVED GRAMMAR. YAAAAR.

Bust a Groove - Bust a Groove
Although the first BaG game sadly does not have dancing zombie pirates with axes in their heads (♥ BiO), it DID have better music than the sequel. This song is not only awesome, it also makes me think of the part of Jr. High that didn't suck. There's not much to say about this song since it's, well, BUST A GROOVE music but there is something sincerely awesome about this song. As for it's flavour? Cute, uplifting techno-ish, cartooney, awesomeness. Yeah. I'M NOT JUST JUDGING THIS ON NOSTALGIC PROPERTIES.

My Best Friends - Pokemon
Y'know all the English Pokemon music? Man, does that ever bring me back. I was never a big Pokemon fan (I was more of a Digimon girl myself), but someone accidently left their Pokemon CD at my apartment way back in seventh grade and ever since I've found the cheesy pop songs on that album perfect for curing any ill temper I may be in. But of all those cheesy pop songs, which is the best? No, not the PokeRap and not (sadly) the irritatingly catchy 'On The Road to Veridian City'. No folks, 'My Best Friends' wins hands down, rivaled only by the Team Rocket song because James' voice actor gets a little TOO into his role. But neverthless, this song with all it's melodramatic proclaimations of ever lasting friendship and random 'Doo-wap' flavour in the bridge is the ultimate pick me up!

Good Girls Go To Heaven (But the Bad Girls Go Everywhere) - Meatloaf
Yes, this song is about masturbation. But it's a really dramatic, catchy, over the top song about masturbation with lots of "oooohs" and "aaaaaahs" and sleazy saxaphone and rolicking tune and, hell, it's by Jim freaking Steinman and Meatloaf. Two of my favorite men in the world. And the fact that it's about masturbation will make you giggle a whole lot, which only goes to further improve your mood.

But, uh, it is a really good song!

Cha La Head Cha La - Dragonball Z
DUDE. NOW THIS IS OLD SKOOL DRAGONBALL Z OPENING THEME MUSIC. It is all happy and about the power of your spirit and cheesy 80's-ness. If this song DOESN'T make you feel all happy and uplifted and inspired and damn SMILEY by the time it's over, you, uh, have no heart.

Needless to say, this is my proverbial "pick me up" song. Oh, Dragonball Z. *sigh* THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

AND NOW BACK TO WORK. HAR.
