ICHIBAN BLOODY PIRATE!!!!!!!!!!!
It's finally snowing. XD Took long enough- usually we start getting snow mid-November. Then it stops for a while just in time for Christmas and starts again in January only to last until... May.
Nevertheless, December 4th was a little late for the first real snow of the season.
Dawn, Tim and I started watching the 'Shogun' mini-series and I remembered how much I really love that book. And how much I lent it out in eighth grade and never got it back. *sigh*
RANDOM NOTE: If there's anyone out there on my flist who is determined to buy me a Christmas gift and doesn't feel like spending much money, I'd like a second hand copy of Shogun THIIIIIS much. You can usually find them for, like, two bucks.
I'm thinking of looking for a new job. Waitressing or a secretarial position. I dunno- my job pays awesomely, but it IS stressful and I really can't afford to be working a job that I can only do three out of five days a week. I dunno- maybe I just suck what with all the mental illness inside my head and I'll prove that one teacher in High School right and find myself incapable of doing ANY job, but I have a feeling that doing something consideriably less high octane in which I deal with people face to face might actually help curb my recent self destructive activities.
I was looking in the classifieds this morning and one of my favorite restaurants is hiring full time waiting staff. The only problem is I'm scared of getting a nightshift on Quinpool. Because, lol, Quinpool at one in the morning? Oh yes, that's certainly something I want to deal with every night. -___-;; Also, apparently all you need to be a small time secretary is a cheerful demaneour and good computer skills. XD
But it would be hilarious if I got a job at Chinatown. Ha ha ha.
Mind you, I'm not stupid. I'm not going to quit this job until I know for certain I have another position assured. To Lici: I'm very sorry. I still don't know if I will quit or not. I just. Gah. Working this week will give me some time to think about it. I probably won't quit until January.
On Sunday, we argued for a full hour about whether or not dragons have eyebrows. I kid you not. Seven people were involved in this debate.
My life is serious business.
