Oh God. There's nothing on my walls right now and it's freaking terrifying. I never realized how much it actually bothered me until now. -___-;; The only thing that's going to lull me to sleep tonight is the fact that both Dawn and I lose at growing, and thus were too short to get most of the stuff off my ceilings. Luckily, Tim agreed to help us move tommorow (NO, HE'S NOT SKIPPING SKOOL AHAHAHA), and he's got more limb than he knows what to do with, thus I'll slave labour him to death (with love?)
Anyways, the furniture in my room is really disgusting. I mean, I just have so much STUFF that I didn't notice that everything in my room was not only COVERED in dust, but ENCRUSTED with it until I took all of my stuff off of it. On top of this, Lucky (my darling cat) seems to have managed to throw up in places I never thought it possible for a cat to throw up. This all bothers me a lot more than it used to and actually makes me want to cry right now, and thus in my new apartment I am going to stop being lazy and bother to DUST and SCRUB my furniture once in a while. Meanwhile, I'll be cleaning my shelves and tables as they're moved out of my apartment tommorow. *sobz*
On a less too-much-information note, I must ammend that Cat's party was a barrel of dead monkeys. That is to say that it was intensely fun and involved a lot of jolly, gory Halloween fun. XDDD We watched Saw, which was interesting and seemed to bother me a lot less than everyone else in the room, and then we played Silent Hill 2 which made me whimper like a thrice kicked puppy. -___-;; We also had a pumpkin hunt, ate far too much cake and candy, wrote communal mad libs and played Sierra games from the 80's (lol Colonel's Bequest).
Today, for no apparent reason, I was in a bad mood and had fun getting all anxious and manic-ey at my parents (for which, by the way mom, I must apologize). In a brilliant move of short-sightedness I went out to see Doom with Tim and Dawn, which was not nearly as craptacular as I anticipated. We were late for the early show and ended up sitting around in Subway for two hours talking about Transformers and Reboot because we're super lame like that. XD
Now, since I was dulyshocked impressed with Doom's inexplicably inability to be an utterly shitastic movie, I must list the reasons it did not suck:
1) The characters randomly decided to have personalities for no apparent reason.
2) One of the Marines was into religious self mutilation, wtf, and quoted the Bible all scary like
3) The Rock's character was not the hero of the movie and, in fact, revealed himself to be a heartless sociopath in the last quarter of the movie
4) The plot attempted to say something interesting about the nature of Good and Evil
5) The gross, slimy, scumbag, drug addict of the group was, in fact, not deemed "evil" by the virus, which was pleasantly not cliche
6) That brother and sister were so incestuous that they were... like...Shannon and Boone something. But it made me giggle like woah. XD
Not saying that it was terribly GOOD, only that I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. However, we failed really good at predicting the plot since Tim realized near the end of the movie that the character played by The Rock shared the same name as the second last boss in the Doom remake (SARGE WAS A BIG, SCARY BOSS WHO APPARENTLY USED TO BE A SQUAD LEADER WHO KILLED ALL OF HIS MEN OUT OF "DUTY". AHAHAHAHA, DUH GUYS). I'm sure we would have seen his being a scary, evil guy a million miles away had we, y'know, remembered that.
And yeah. I should sleep, but there's still a lot of last minute packing I need to do. But probably won't. Because I suck that way. *ded*
PS: I must note that Gregory is the most incredible thing in the Universe. He bought me the Star Ocean II OST. *nods resolutely* Well, you know what next week's music download is going to be. XDD
