Drakkan.org, drakkan.org, why why why don't you work anymore? Why now, in the darkest eve of my life do you choose to fail me? Why now, when I have a great need for stock Dragon-related art free of copyright restrictions? Drakkan.org, you were once the image recource love of my life and now you have brought me to tears. *MELODRAMA*
If anyone on my flist has random pictures of dragons, you would totally be my hero if you would share them with me. I can't find any decent ones ANYWHERES. T____T It'd be even cooler if someone perhaps knew of a site that has an abudance of fanatsy related art? ^__^;; *INSERT HOPEFUL*
Speaking of dragons, I was walking past a novel in Shoppers today and it had a gorgeous illustration of a Dragon on the cover. Hopeful, I grabbed the book off the shelf and read the inside flap of the dust cover only to discover that the story was, predictably, about a HUMAN BOY and his PET DRAGON.
I don't understand why it's, like, illegal to write dragons as the main characters of any given fantasy novel. Dragons are FAR more interesting than humans, yet I have only read one book in my entire life where the draconic race was given not only a starring role, but the starring role. And I have read a lot of fantasy novels. *sigh*
... THIS IS WHY THE WORLD NEEDS RYUUGUU. DUH! *slaps forhead*
