Radio Show Stuff Again...
For any of you who are interested in hearing the all-nighter radio show, you can download it at ckdu.ca. Look in the 'Program Archives' and download between the hours 00:00 and 7:00 on Monday the 5th. You should probably download in one hour chunks- the files aren't very large if you download the lower quality files. ^___^
Here, I've attempted to briefly summarize each hour in case you only want to hear some of it:
00:00 - 1:00 Us introducing ourselves and starting out. It's a bit awkward at the beginning. o__O We talk about Metal Gear Solid and why Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne are all technically the same person.
1:00 - 2:00 Find our why the Dresden Dolls are the best band since The Beatles. Hear me ramble about the meaning of life. We play Xenogears Cried and Bon Jovi BACK TO BACK. Once again, I use inappropiate language for the radio. Rebecca and I discuss why the TV Show 'Night Court' and the classical song 'Night Shift' are both equally awesome.
2:00 - 3:00 Digimon music is played! We advertise for the Firefly movie! Hear about the existential new experimental film, THE TOASTER AND THE MAN! Hear about why X-Men is awesome! Rebecca inappropiately uses the term 'Break the Fourth Wall'! Also, the First Official CKDU Non-Karaoke Karaoke contest. This is, in my opinion, our best hour.
3:00 - 4:00 Our crappy improv Bad Anime Parody occured within this hour. Fear our bad-dub-voice imitations. We bitch about how that whole 35% Canadian content deal sucks a lot. ONCE AGAIN, I use completely inappropiate language for the radio. -___-;; We rant about 'Lost', and Resident Evil 4 (because Salazar is the shiznit).
4:00 - 5:00 For no reason whatsoever, there is a rant about how Rebecca's sister made my Harry Potter Sims slashy. Rebecca talks about her X-Men play as we continue to wait for Gambit's phonse call. And 'The Oddessy'. 'The Oddessy' is awesome. ^___^ We take an extended break of random music at the end of this hour.
5:00 - 6:00 We start to get tired and desperate for people to call our request line. Hannah's facial expressions don't match her words. I threaten Matt with the prospect of having a uterus put in his body by aliens. There is no statue of Winston Churchill in Nagasaki. Rebecca loses all feeling in her teeth. Gambit still hasn't called yet. T__T We argue about whether Chris Claremont is a good writer or not. And Batman. Lots of Batman arguments.
6:00 - 7:00 ROFLCOPTER!!!!!!! You want to hear what teenagers who haven't slept in two dyas sound like on the radio, this is the sound clip for you. The first half of this pretty much sounds like people mumbling about how much they need caffiene. The second half is a random mess of giggling, mullets, ROFLCOPTERS, stupid phonse numbers that you shouldn't call and me singing Meatloaf really loudly for no apparent reason. This is my second favorite hour. Well, the last half at least. ^___^
