RANDOM NARUTO FANGIRLING
"...art is actually something fleeting that scatters in a beautiful, transient flash, un!"
I've randomly been fangirling on the Akatsuki lately thanks to the recent story arc. The fact that Deidara and Sasori had a mild bitchfight over their conflicting artistic styles amused me to no end. The manga finally feels almost as if it's tuning into classic Naruto-ness again.Ever since the new arc started, everything's felt a little off (ahahaha, like I haven't complained about that a million times already). The characters have felt a little stale. o__O I don't know, maybe it's the fact that Naruto's maturity DOES take a little while to get used to compounded with the fact that I don't like what's happened with Sakura's character. Maybe it's just that fact that everyone's all grown up and into dealing with official ninja business uh, officially. The characters just don't seem as vibrant. Even Team Gai seems to be lacking their usual hilarity. *sigh*
But all in all I am enjoying this arc. It's totally giving me a new appreciation for the Akatsuki and... y'know... has Team Gai. I just miss the little things- like Lee's adorable crush on Sakura. I'm mildly disturbed that Neji got to be all : "Naruto! Be still my heart!" in the last chapter, but not a fangirly word was said by Lee in Sakura's direction.
Well, who knows what happened in Konoha over those two and a half years. o__O
AND WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT TWO AND A HALF! I should just stop complaining and let myself enjoy the damn series. It's not like anything could possibly make me stop reading, so the bitching on characterization is totally pointless. Lalala.
And Sasori makes puppets out of human remains? Dude. That is totally wicked cool. As much as I love Kankuro, he loses compared to that. ^___^
And now, I have to go thoroughly clean my apartment. THAT WILL BE SO MUCH FUN.
