Polka dots and Plaid
I forced Gregory to lend me his umbrella and it's not even raining outside. -.-;; If it starts pouring this period he's going to be very cross with me.
Hmm... not much happened today. Leslie and I got... inspired again (in the middle of Chemisty no less) and have resolved to start a whole bunch of cool clubs at our school. Creative Writing, Archery and Busking. We figure it will be easy enough to get a teacher-sponser for Archery and Creative writing, but the Busking idea might be a little... tricky.
I'm in a good mood today. I think that waking up at 6AM is good for me. I feel more awake for the rest of the day.
I watched Yu-Gi-Oh on YTV this morning while making breakfast. The show... confounds me. I want to go to a real life Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and see if people really get that worked up and maniacal when they play. Anyone who's ever seen that show knows how it is- it's all about the "MUWAHAHAHA!" and the "NOW YOU SHALL BE DESTROYED!" and the flying, power discs that do not, in fact, cut off feet but instead mess with one's mind. See, now I don't even know what I'm talking about.
Though now I have even more reason to adore the punk that is Jonouchi Katsuya (through the five episodes and one manga chapter of the series I have digested):
Odeon (I think...): "I shall place THIS CARD in the sacred arc! IT SHALL BE THE FINAL INSTRUMENT OF YOUR DESTRUCTION!"
Jonouchi: *dispassionately* "Whoop-de-do."
La la la. I was going to write something else here.
Oh yeah. It's all stormy and stuff again. 90kmph winds- which normally wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that half the trees in the city are already falling down and this little storm might bring our power down- AGAIN. Which honestly, wouldn't be that huge of a problem (oh you know me! I love my school!)- but if I'm stuck at home tommorow, I at least want to be able to write and play Playstation.
Oooh! I'm playing FFT through again. Actually, my reason for doing so is purely... work related. I remembered why I stopped working on the novelization- my tape of the third chapter is totally screwed up from when you meet Rafa and Malak until Izlude's death. Needless to say, this is a very important chunk of story therefore I've got to rush myself through Chapters 1 and 2 and retape a good two hours of soul searching. It'll be a nice experience. ^ ^ Strenious, GAME OVER filled, but nice. I miss Gafgharion. -.-;;
La la. Tactics rocks. The translation is ambiguous ("best friends", eh?) and Delita is a manwhore... but we love him for it, don't we?
Has anyone out there even ever played Tactics? Hello? Am I alone in my love for this non-Final Fantasy FF?
*sob*
*blink blink* I think my current lack of sleep is... breaking... my... head. I'll stop talking while I still retain my coherency.
(Oh, before I go I'm going to ruin the end of FFT! Mwahahahaha! Stabbity stabbity. Didn't that answer all your questions?)
