Job Oppertunity

Advanced Gaming Systems (AGS) is looking for some workers.

Hours are 10-20/week, flexible, at home, one weekly face to face meeting in town. Pay rate starts at $8/hr, DOQ.

I have several needs, one worker should be able to do 1+ of these tasks:

1. Help manage the Beta testers for both products - that is working with
them, our forums, and our bug tracking systems. Requires being chatty.

2. QA Coordinator - working primarily between the Beta Team and the
Development Team, managing bugs, closing them out. Requires a hard nosed
ability to break games.

3. Sysop - takes builds and posts them, helps admin Forums, Wake's, Mantis
applications, develops PhP apps as necessary, runs reports from mySQL to
support the company. Typical personality for this one.

4. VBA programmer - works on Access database editing application used to
edit our databases. Must know Access already - no learning curve for this

5. Assistant coder - helps my four Aggie coders with image and sound files,
builds, and other "around the edges" stuff. tests intermediate releases,
works on tooling/utilities.

They also get named credit in any release they work on (i.e. their name in
the game and the manual if they are still working with us when we ship or
leave under acceptance circumstances). They get to work with a real live
game company that does Serious Games and straight Entertainment games. They
get training in some Software Engineering processes.

To apply, send me a resume, and an attachment detailing:

* Games they play (with links to the websites)

* Online activities related to the games (Forums, Clans, etc)

* Anything they've done that maps to one or more of the above skills
that I should consider.

Please send applications to dgilman@advancedgaming.biz
