Shirk is about giving the energy, focus, love, devotion, humility, obedience, awe, and reverence owed to God to something or someone else.

Shirk fragments our focus and the result is incongruence, varying degrees of pain, resentment, discontentment. Under a thousand problems is the deeper problem of inner fragmentation.

Our purpose in this life is to seek truth & journey on a path to Allah. That path requires all of our focus. Focus on pleasing Allah and worshipping Allah needs all of our energy. When that focus is in the correct place, there is order & flow. There is peace.

Finding truth is about bowing to the truth of la ilaha illa Allah muhammad ar-RasulAllah with mind, body and soul and this is the key to wholeness in this dunya and success in the hereafter.
