Not Ded Yet

I haven't been around much (again!), so my apologies for not keeping up with your posts. I hope you're all doing well.
I had a great visit with
caarirose, who came all the way from Australia to hang out with friends in the US, see a little band we like to call Kane ;), and go to Wincon. Wincon was great fun, as always. Giant, sentimental hugs to old friends locknkey, desertport, gestaltrose, tsuki_no_bara, and more. Hugs also to my new friends, whose names are scribbled on scraps of paper in locations as yet to be determined (but not lost!).
I'm on this holiday love meme thing. The anonymity aspect seemed weird at first (I'd say the same things in a comment whether my name is on it or not), but I think I actually like receiving the comments better this way. It is not logical, but it is apparently true (to paraphrase a quote with, I think, a very apt context). In any case, I'll look around for you guys on the meme.
What little time I do spend on LJ usually involves podfic these days. I did a few rec posts on
spnroundtable. They were called From the Top, Beware Nasal Beverage Expulsion, J2 non-au Porn, and Smile On Your Brother. Now I'm doing a monthly podfic roundup post over there, Podfic Appreciation 101 and Give the Gift of Podfic so far.
I'm pathetically stalled on my own podfic though! I've recorded and mostly editedash_carpenter's Anti-Kink Series and riyku's short fic Song and Dance. I clearly have a weakness for 1) kinks gone humorously wrong, and 2) getting through the final stage of finishing podfic! I keep mucking about with sound effects and music. I might need an intervention from podfic friends about this!
