Cell Division is an application written by a former A-level (UK) Lecturer of Biology. It is an aid for students of biology learning or revising the topics of mitosis and meiosis. The application contains images of cell division as well as questions to test your knowledge and a glossary of terms for both mitosis and meiosis. This application contains 3D images designed to give the clearest possible picture of the events of cell division, each image being accompanied by a detailed explanation of what is happening at that stage. This application does not need an internet connection in order to function and so can be used to learn and revise this subject anywhere.
