Suzanne

A biopic drama about the first female cosmetic surgeon and a feminist activist

Suzanne is an animated documentary, produced using archive footage and animation, based on the life of Suzanne Noël. Set in Paris, from the Belle Époque to the Roaring Twenties, this film traces the journey of a woman who wants to succeed on her own terms in a society that denies women any freedom of choice. Suzanne Noël is recognised today as both a pioneer of modern cosmetic surgery and a feminist activist.
