Wrapped in magic realism, humour and friendships we join our three main characters as they embark on an inner tour de force navigating puberty, first crush, big egos and true friendships.
In a provincial town, where puberty not only makes you awkward but also magical, we follow Thilde, Johanne, and Clara in 5th grade. They are all at the mercy of their emotions while discovering their individual magical abilities taking physical form. Johanne's anger turns to flames, Thilde's shyness transforms her into a puddle of water, and Clara's lies cover her in shadows. As a school assignment and against the girl's own wish they are forced to work together creating a board game, but their magic skills quickly cause chaos. As they learn to master their powers, secrets are revealed, and the girls realize their vulnerabilities are both a gift and a danger.
