June 19, 2009 - mmrobitussin - Affiliate Announcement

Hello cb_overflow participants!

As some of you know, I also run the community tcg_exchange which is now affiliated with only the cb_overflow branch of the community. Everytime you finish a banner [that is submitted to the person] you can receive 2 cards for every single banner completed. For every 2 banners [within the same post] you can receive 5 cards for doing both. ^_^ Hopefully this will keep from having people who wait too long for their banners.

HOWEVER: Banners must be still made carefully and nicely. No one wants a thrown together banner. Banners that are too low in quality will not receive cards. Also, any person who does over 4 banner requests [maximum 2 posts] PER week will not be allowed to receive any more cards that week.

January 20, 2008 - mmrobitussin - Update

We all know that this community does not have a banner maker list, but rather everyone can participate and make banners. However, I would like to inform you that if you are going to fill someone's banner request in this community, please do not make your banners in MS Paint. Use Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, etc. in order to make your banners. Another point I would like to say is, just because you have this programs does NOT mean that all the banners you will make are perfect. If a moderator feels that the banners are not up to par with what this community is suppose to offer, we will request that you please stop making banners [However, you will still be welcome to request banners. :D]

FAQ Questions:

1. Just curious, but I won a community header challenge at kouga_stills and wanted to know if it's okay to request headers? I would assume not, but I thought I'd ask anyway!
As long as it was for an icontest (which kouga_stills is) then you may request a banner. In the additional information please state that it was for a community header challenge and you would like a different sized banner (unless you want a 300x100 resized... then state that instead).

2. I have a question. I've won a icontest that used to have a bannermaker a long time ago. The icontest is now dead and I never received the banners. Can I request the banners here?
Yes, that's fine. Go ahead and link to the winning post and the community as usual, even if it's defunct.

3. Just making sure, I won at manga_iteston Feb but I never got my banners made (even though they said they're going to make my banners). Can I request them here or banner_contest? Sorry if this sounds stupid >_<
Yes you can request them in both places. ^_^
