my aunt mary, who lives here in arizona near me, has a son who is an actor in chicago. she's my uncle's second wife, so i guess that makes him my 2nd cousin or something? well anyways, he has a mid size role i guess in this new larry the cable guy movie coming out next month i believe. it's called "witless protection" lol. looks pretty silly, but i think it's pretty cool to know someone in it! he was here for xmas so i got to see him again after like 7 years since his mom and my dad's brother got married. but yeah.. i just watched the trailer for it, and he's actually in it a good amount of times! just have to know what he looks like, lol. his name is dan waller. here is a screen cap:

Hey guys.. so some of you may know that I've been a part of my school's radio station for the past few years. Well we're finally back on the air (sort of), and I recorded my first show 2 weeks ago. There's been some issues, but it's finally going to air this week. Here are the times:

man... this semester is really hard. the work never ends, and it's really getting to me. i'm not used to working and being so busy with school and stuff for so long. it's really been stressing me out and getting me down. and the fact that i see no end in sight for a while doesn't help. after school, i'll be working 40+ hours a week probably. i miss when i could relax at night and during the weekends...no more. i could really use a break. i don't know when that will be... :(

soo, our apartment is falling apart. the pipes to heat the upstairs froze, so we're using space heaters now, which actually work better. and now, our screen door is completely coming off. here it is yesterday:

yeah so i've been feeling better now. i went to boston last night to hang out with some friends from the movie theatre, and stayed there for the night. was a nice change. it was so beautiful today.. the colors on the leaves are changing up here. so i'm making the best of life right now. :) can't wait till the semester is over though! :p

so i know a lot of people use ebay to buy and/or sell. apparently there is a new tool you can use on it to make selling even easier. it's from another site called list'd express. it's really good for people our age, because it makes the whole process quicker, and it gives you template so your page looks appealing. i'm all about that since i am a design major. :p so the next time you wanna sell something on ebay, why not try this out?

well you all probably know by now that i am a member of payperpost. they pay us to make posts on our blogs about different things. well fittingly enough, they have a blog of their own! i checked it out, and it seems that it is used as a way to feature different payperpost bloggers. they fill out a survey about themselves for all us other bloggers to read. it seems like an interesting idea, but i wonder how many people actually read them? well, you can see it for yourself if you like:

for one of my classes, we have to figure out why gap stores aren't doing so well anymore, and put together a new way to get sales back. part of our research is to ask others what they think. sooo.. what do you guys think about the gap? did you know it was doing poorly? do you shop there? what do you think they could do to improve their sales? answers to any of these questions would be greatly helpful. :)

ok, so my roommate tried the only other cable outlet we didn't see, and for some reason, that one works, but the other 3 don't. and i figured out the outlets downstairs... i guess resetting the breakers did the trick. so everything in that department is coming into place... i also got back my work study job from last year. they changed the policy on work study, so i wouldn't have been able to try to get one for like 3 weeks. by then, they'd all be gone. yeah i could find a job elsewhere, but this just seems easier. well i could get both, but i don't wanna overdo it too much. i didn't reallyy want my old one back, but i can't be picky, so i just went ahead and took it while i have the chance. so this is basically how my schedule looks:

monday
930-1215: senior thesis/studio
230-345: intro to app programming
400-515: capstone experience

tuesday
1000-1115: writing for professionals
100-345: design in the 20th century

wednesday
930-1215: senior thesis/studio
230-345: intro to app programming
400-515: capstone experience

so that's not bad. hopefully tomorrow afternoon and/or this weekend i can finally unpack and really settle in. and sleep! lol stuff has changed... maybe i'll talk more about that another time.

we have no internet (or cable) at our apartment, until tomorrow, i hope. cox sucks. also half the electricity doesn't work downstairs. and i might not have a job. lots of shit, and no time to relax. *sigh* well hopefully this will all be sorted out soon. just wanted to let anyone know why i wasn't online in case they were wondering.

so i've had a digital camera for over three years now. actually, i'm on my third one, cuz the other two broke after a year. but so far, this one is still ok. *knocks on wood* i've always had the same kind.. canon powershot. they're supposed to be quite good for their price range, and i'm happy with it (besides when they break, but my dropping them might have something to do with that :p). eventually, it would be cool to get a dslr.. looks like a manual, but is a digital. then my photos would be super awesome! however that is quite expensive...

anyway, if you're interested in buying a digital camera, you should check out this site. here you can learn more about cameras, and get reviews on different kinds. you should definitely research before you buy. :)

so you guys know how i've been spamming your friends lists sometimes about random things? well, i got paid for some today! about $25 worth. :) and i still have at least another $40 coming. it went into my paypal account, and i withdrew it into my checking out. yeah its only $25, but that's gonna pay to fill up my gas tank for back to school, lol. so it makes me happy. :) so if any of ya'll we thinking this was a scam, i can honestly say it's not. it's just up to you if you wanna do it or not.

did any of you have a music box when you were younger? those boxes you put your jewelry in (well at least i did), and when you opened it, there would be this little dancer or something that spun and music played? i think i had two of them.. a ballernia one, and a teddy bear one. actually, i might still have the teddy bear one.

well anyway i bring this up because apparently there is a website devoted just to these boxes! and they're not just boxed shaped.. there's one that's even a lighthouse, haha. they look pretty neat to me.. i guess they would make nice decortations too. i found one with a lighthouse and an angel that i like. i have a ton of angel ornaments that go on a mini christmas tree, so it made me think of that. and some of you may know what the lighthouse refers to.. :p

and then i looked at the prices, and they're only like $30-40. not that bad..
