  <title>Long time! But back at it!</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;So there&apos;s been a legit reason I fell off the bandwagon. My car started smoking Thursday after work and I knew I needed maintenance so I decided not to drive it until my friend Marcus could check it out. Anywhoo he couldn&apos;t look at it until Saturday. On top of that Chase has been staying with me and we were fatties so there&apos;s no point in working out. He leaves today so it&apos;s back to 5x weekly workouts! Plus add the diet strictness and I should be dropping inches in no time!   <title>Disappointed but NOT giving up!</title>

  <description>Today was the weigh in for week 3. I didn&apos;t gain or lose a pound. Which could be OK. I have been doing strength training so it could be muscle building in place of the fat. Like I said, my goal weight is 156. It will take over a year to happen and when it does, I&apos;ll have a lot of muscle in place of fat, which prevents fat from coming back. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&apos;m still upset...I&apos;d be lying if I said I wasn&apos;t. It&apos;s OK though. I told myself that I will begin a stricter diet is I did not see any results this week. So the diet will be next on the agenda to TEAM SKINNY =) I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I took yesterday off from exercising. I spent the day with brother and his ex-gf Melanie. So we went to the beach, and I swam a bit, but I was there to get some sun. Today I worked legs, the gym was slammed so I didn&apos;t get the opportunity to work my butt and the second of my abs workout. Oh well. Then I went and ran 2 miles. I was suppose to do 3 but my legs were sore. I don&apos;t want to kill them and I&apos;m enjoying running so I want to take it slow and not hurt my legs. I will not be doing my half-marathon BUT I will be doing my 5K. So excited =) Anywhoo, I&apos;m watching the Olympics. Tomorrow I&apos;ll be working hard again! BYE BYE</description>

  <title>Nervous</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Tomorrow I&apos;m anxious to weigh in. I hope to have lost another pound at least. I&apos;ve worked hard this week and I hope my diet isn&apos;t burdening me from losing pounds. Tomorrow will be a breaking point. If I have no results I will cut back on the eating as well. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&apos;m happy I have this LJ to write in. It helps me get out of my worries and express my triumphs.   <title>9.5 miles DONE!</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;I just finished my 2 mile recovery walk for a grand total of 9.5 miles done this week :) Goal accomplished for my marathon training week 1. So excited to be working out and being healthy. My legs feel good :) Not sore from yesterday&apos;s long run. The key is to stench afterwards. Next week starts 5-day running training. I CAN DO IT!  I am a little nervous.   <title>Long Run</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Didn&apos;t make it to the gym yesterday. I felt guilty but I had a amazing day with my family :) So I&apos;m happy I got time with them. Today I went early because I knew I had to do a 3-mile run/walk. I worked my legs today and did well, meaning I pushed myself. I was sweating and out of breath by the end.  I jumped right on the treadmill and went to town doing 2/1 intervals. That lasted about 11 mins and then I went at a pace I felt comfortable with. I finished in 42:55 so I&apos;m happy. I&apos;m not in bad shape like Wednesday when I was really sore. Tomorrow will be a easy day because I have a 2-mile recovery walk. Also going tomorrow will give me day 5 which is my goal of exercising 5 days a week. I can&apos;t wait until weigh-in on Tuesday! I need to make better choices eating wise. All will be accomplished with hard work :) Just resting before work.   <title>Feeling Strong</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Feeling good today. The soreness is gone and my shins are at a level 2 pain. Very minimal. I love it. I&apos;m glad that my shins are not in a lot of pain. Today I am going to focus on strength training my legs and core. No running today. I&apos;ll do my cardio on the elliptical. So yea! Feeling a lot more positive than I did last night after that run. I was so sore and not feeling it!   <title>Running Sucks</title>

  <description>OMG I don&apos;t know how runners do it. My legs (shins) are killing me. I did 2.4 miles today when I was suppose to do 2.5 so not to bad. I didn&apos;t even check before doing it but that&apos;s OK. I didn&apos;t go to the gym because I had a busy day so I told myself to take the day off. BUT when I got home from my AMAZING dinner I changed into workout gear, walked the pups and ran 2.4miles. OMG I check the Color Run page everyday because it&apos;s so COOL! I will sign up this weekend. SO EXCITED! I&apos;ll be in such better shape come October 21st. It&apos;s going to be one of the best experiences of my life. I&apos;m still not sure about Team in Training. It&apos;s a lot of money to come up with. I don&apos;t know a ton of people so sponsorship is going to be tough. We&apos;ll see, I&apos;m still going to the meeting next week. Tomorrow I don&apos;t know when I&apos;m going to get to the gym. Probably after the photo shoot with Rach and Chase. I can probably convince Rachel to go with me =) She needs all the motivation she can get! I want her to get healthy. I worry about her. If she has someone to push her I know she can do it! Anywhoo, my legs are sore. Tomorrow I&apos;ll do a rest day from the running. I&apos;ll pick up again on Friday with a &lt;b&gt;3 mile&lt;/b&gt; run!!!! UH That&apos;s going to suck lol. I CAN DO IT! I&apos;m off to bed to rest these dogs. Chow =)</description>

  <title>Quick Break </title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;m at the gym on a break. Just finished my first day of marathon training. OMG I&apos;m dead. Today was 2 miles with 2 run / 1 min walk. I did that for about 5 mins and then I went to 1/1. It was a lot harder than I thought. It took 27:55 to complete. So now I know and have a place to improve. I&apos;m drenched in sweat. I&apos;m kind of dizzy so I think I&apos;m not going to do another 30 mins. of cardio. That was the plan but I&apos;m tired today. Not very motivated. BUT at least I did my workout for the day. So yea. I&apos;m ready to go home and hit the showers. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;EDIT: Weighed myself on the way out. Down 1lb! Congrats Cassie! 37 more to go until my goal weight! I&apos;m happy to see some sort of result because I took a picture and it was the same old Cassie lol.   <title>Cardio-blocked</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;So today was suppose to be my first day training for the marathon. BUT Brittany decided to show up and workout with me so I got sucked into doing a class instead of my 2-mile run/walk. It&apos;s good because I still got my cardio workout in. My arms are dead. I won&apos;t be working these out for a few days now. Anywhoo, tomorrow I&apos;ll start my training!!! I also found an awesome 5K called the &apos;Color Run&apos;. It&apos;s October 21st in Miami. I can&apos;t wait.   <description>&lt;p&gt;So it&apos;s Sunday night and I&apos;m tired after a busy weekend. I spent yesterday with friends watching movies and birthday parties. No working out because the hours don&apos;t fit very well with the work schedule. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So tomorrow is back to training. I can honestly say that I&apos;m not feeling it right now but I&apos;ll pack my stuff and be sure to go right after work. I&apos;ll be beginning my 1/2 marathon training. So exciting!!   <description>&lt;p&gt;Ok, so goal #2! &lt;b&gt;I want to run/walk a half-marathon&lt;/b&gt; !!! I got a letter from Team-in-Training and they team up with Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society to help people complete marathons. Well I want to do it! I KNOW I can complete it, but I don&apos;t know if I could gather all the funds to do it! BUT I&apos;m going to go to the Informational Meeting on Aug. 1st at the DUB! lol. I&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I want to do the &quot;Disney Wine &amp; Dine Half Marathon Weekend&quot; It&apos;s November 10, 2012. What do you think? I&apos;m already building stamina with my workouts and it&apos;s another way to get in shape. I&apos;m super excited.   <title>Day 8</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Almost to workout 10!! I&apos;m feeling good. I can&apos;t wait to take a photo on day 10 so I can look and see if there are any results. Regardless, I&apos;m staying motivated. The weekend is here! So I won&apos;t be working out because tomorrow is super busy with friends activities and Sunday I work a double. I did my 5 days this week and that was my goal! Today I worked my legs and butt. My hamstrings are weak! I could barely finish my sets. I only did 20 mins. of cardio because I wanted to get home to the pups. I hate leaving them and I already had to go to the hair salon. So 20 mins. is not that bad. The trainer said between 25-45 so I only shorted myself a little. I stuck strictly to the elliptical.   <description>&lt;p&gt;Okay so I convince myself I was not going to work out today. I&apos;ve had a busy day because I had a hair appointment so I think I would skip today go tomorrow. Well I took the dogs to the park and then I went got my hair done and I got out super early. And I literally have five hours before I have to go to work but I thought just relax you&apos;ll just go on Saturday. Not so easy. I kept convincing myself that I had workout clothes washed and cleaned so I should just go. Next thing you know I got just got myself together and now I&apos;m on my way to the gym LOL. So I kind of addicted but I&apos;m super happy and excited about it because it&apos;s better than being lazy. That&apos;s a good thing is that I don&apos;t have to try to go tomorrow night so super crazy busy. I&apos;m pretty excited about how motivated and how much I want to work out it really makes me feel better about myself. Even if I&apos;m not seeing results the fact that I&apos;m still out there working out sliding I know I&apos;m burning calories and I&apos;m doing something good for my body so I know that I&apos;m bettering myself. Hopefully I can keep this up another 60 days or so and I&apos;ll be good to go!   <title>Day 7</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;First week complete! So excited! Today was another cardio day. Rachel joined along for the exercise adventure. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The game plan was to do a cardio kickboxing class. Rachel was running late so I started without her. 2 mins. into the class it felt like I was going to bleed everywhere. I didn&apos;t want to risk it do instead went on the elliptical. Guess how much time I did today?? 20 mins! So excited :) Rachel joined me later. Next we went on my favorite machine the stair machine and I only lasted 5 mins today. Finishes off with 10 mins. on the cycle on level 9. Overall, I did 45 mins. between warm up and exercise. Not bad. :) Back to strength training tomorrow!   <title>Workout - day 6</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;I rocked it today! I&apos;m in the swing of things and I enjoy doing it! It&apos;s a great feeling to be so motivated to want to get out there and work hard. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So I did my typical warm up, 10 minutes. Then I moved on and did Pull exercises. I pushed myself today. I upped the weights if I felt it wasn&apos;t effective and ended in a sweat. Very nice feeling. Then I worked on my abs as always. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Next is 24-45 of cardio. I started on the elliptical because it&apos;s my enemy lol. But once I got a rhythm I rocked it! Without breaking I finished 15 mins. A new record for me. I can barely last 8 mins lol. Then of course I went on my favorite the nautical step machine. This thing is a challenge. I&apos;m still having a hard time finishing level 2 for 10 mins. so I&apos;ll continue to do that. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Finally, a nice 10 min. cool down on the treadmill to finish with 35 mins. of cardio, a new record. I left feeling awesome :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I weighed myself and I&apos;ve lost no weight. I was a little shocked because I figured I would have lost some water weight, but I&apos;m not discouraged. I read this cute Pinterest quote, &quot;you&apos;ll notice results in 2 weeks, your friends in 4, and everyone in 12 weeks.&quot; I keep thinking that every time my crazy head wants to compare. That&apos;s why I won&apos;t take a picture until next week. I want to see if it&apos;s true ;)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anywhoo, time to pack supplies for tomorrow&apos;s Kickboxing class!! Woot!   <description>&lt;p&gt;OMG it just hit me!!! My trainer told me I need to set a goal in order to motivate myself to keep on track with my exercise. I&apos;ve just figured it out...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;i&gt;I want to cosplay as Miu from Elfen Lied on July 18th, 2013&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is the perfect timing and goal.   <title>Cardio Kickboxing - Day 5</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Boy am I sore lol. Today, going along with my trainers suggestions, I skipped resistance training and instead went to a cardio class. I went to Kickboxing and got my butt whooped! I FINISHED though which made me proud. I wanted to give up, a lot. The ending was the toughest when we went on the mats. My arms are super sore because I worked those yesterday. Note to self: Do not do Push a day before Kickboxing. I can do legs or something else. Anywhoo, tomorrow I&apos;ll be back on resistance training.   <description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;m battling myself right now! I want to go workout so bad lol! So awesome! I want to do some resistance training but I can&apos;t. Today is a strictly cardio day and my class isn&apos;t until 545pm! uH! Isn&apos;t that amazing though?? I WANT to work out. My body is bored. So so so awesome. I&apos;m just so excited about it. I&apos;ve never wanted to go to the gym before.   <title>Day 4</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Today&apos;s workout was pretty good. I did my cardio workout and then chose Push muscles today. I worked my back, glutes, triceps, abs plus more. Afterwards I did my 30 mins. of cardio. All in all pretty good. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I was doing resistance training today I didn&apos;t feel as tired afterwards then when I did legs. I don&apos;t know why. Once I got to cardio though, I started sweating like crazy. I felt better then. I find that to be a good sign. I want to sweat and I want to work hard to achieve that. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tomorrow is a class day! No weights. Should be fun!   <description>&lt;p&gt;Amanda&apos;s BF Alan makes amazing pizza! It was so good! That was dinner last night and a piece for lunch today lol. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Today I met with a PT at LA Fitness. It was very informative. I learned a lot about Resistance Training. Of course they wanted me to buy the PT package, but I can&apos;t afford that right now. I want to work with someone so bad! It&apos;s quite affordable so after summer I&apos;ll start that. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I did get a good idea of how to work out the right way. When I get there I&apos;ll do 5-10 min. cardio warmup. After that I do my resistance training. I can choose from Pull muscles, Push muscles or Legs. All three will end with me working on Abs. He told me to do about 4 machines. Then I&apos;ll do a 25-45 cardio workout. This is the part that surprises me. I assumed I should just do cardio and then strength. All in all, it&apos;s about 60-80 min. workout. SO DO-ABLE! In really excited. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After doing the body fat calculations he said that I&apos;ll be about 156lbs. with my lean muscle added on. Im currently 194. I gained a lot of my weight back! But that&apos;s OK! I can do this!!! Results should take about a year. I just want to be healthy and keep it off this time. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Very motivated and can&apos;t wait to see some results!   <description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;ve read a lot of of my old posts from USF. I sound like I&apos;m the coolest person alive lol. It was fun. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok onto Day 2 of the gym. It was more rough today. My legs were sore but I did work out. I started with the Treadmill and tried my regime I found on Pintrest. I got to min. 10 before I gave up on it. I did better on speed 6.5. I stopped at 10 because I went to a class. It was called &quot;Step Up plus Abs&quot;. It was AWFUL! It wasn&apos;t really for beginners because the instructor just barked orders. I lasted about 30 mins before I gave up. I looked ridiculous and wanted to do something else. The gym is so busy at night so getting on a machine you want is pretty tough. I know for certain I will not try any weights at night because it&apos;s crazy. The afternoons are so quiet. I wanted to do the Stairmaster but it was full so I went on the elliptical and only lasted 5 mins. My legs were so sore from yesterday. Tomorrow is a Personal Trainer day. I&apos;m excited to learn the machines. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Overall, day two was a success!   <description>&lt;p&gt;After my first day of working out I feel ready to go back! So happy about that! I love LA Fitness and all the fun classes and machines available. If I like being there I&apos;ll go more :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Workout yesterday:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;20 min. Treadmill. 2 min of running (it&apos;s a start!)&lt;br&gt;20 stair master. Level 1 but I&apos;m trying level 2 today. &lt;br&gt;20 bicycle. Random and not very challenging. &lt;br&gt;10 elliptical. Kills me everytime. &lt;br&gt;5 min on another stair machine. Devil machine. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Can&apos;t wait to do it again today! Today&apos;s class is Step Up plus Abs!
