There is time, engineering and software limitations that make a risky undertaking the valve redesign project. A case which uses the basic decision tree in a preliminary decision analysis case was used with the core material for an exam. The A case is a rewrite of two previous cases (QA-0480 and QS-0481). In these cases, the central themes of the projects have been planned, and in this case, the scheduling is fixed and the problems are less computationally intensive and interesting. Also in the A case, there are two options: a look at the students and usually they are not. This case also has a real option in the problem to an entire class can be embedded built.
