Cherry Picks is a Hong Kong-communication start-up approach to a large Korean mobile operator for a partnership between the operator take to markets outside of Korea. SK Telecom (SKT) Ringback Tones (RBT) product is a spectacular success in South Korea, but the partnership will require major changes in Cherry Picks business model. Complicate matters, SKT focuses also a strategic investor in Cherry Picks, a very large service provider in South Korea and China, and usually with Korean partners, entrepreneurial firms. The management team cherry picks need to decide how they should take the opportunity to partnership SKT beating and what would be their preferred deal structure.
