Since approaching the Christmas season of 2000, the company is faced with two IT projects that both appear to be urgent and important. The first is an attempt, the software tool of booksellers and others are used to load Alibris replace their inclusion in the database. The current tool is error-prone and does not provide rich information about every book uploaded. This lack of information makes rich Alibris database of useful search difficult. The second project relates to ensuring the integrity of the database. Recent evidence suggests that the records will not be posted, updated and deleted as they should be, in all cases, with negative effects for customers. Alibris need to decide which of the two projects follow immediately. There are not enough resources to do both.
