TravelLocal, now proudly B Corp Certified, is a travel company with a difference. We forge partnerships with hundreds of handpicked, locally-owned tour operators in over 80 destinations worldwide, crafting amazing tailor-made holidays. Our mission? To reimagine travel by making it fairer and more sustainable. Each journey with us contributes to making travel a force for good. At TravelLocal, travel is more than mere exploration. It's about genuine human connections made across the world and the incredible, life-changing rewards that come from sustainable practices - for travelers, locals, and the planet.   • Happy Easter! Now's the perfect opportunity to consider Easter Island as a destination for your next journey.   • At TravelLocal, we are committed to making travel better for everyone: the traveler, the destination, and the planet. This is why we love highlighting the work our local partners are doing in their destinations to support their local communities. This month, we're excited to share the work being done by the team at Terra Panamerica: for each trip confirmed with Terra Colombia, they're giving 10 USD to a local association in the Pacific region, which helps provide children in the area with school supplies. They also encourage travelers to bring these children gifts from home, which they then wrap and give at Christmas.

We're proud to be a certified B Corporation (B Lab UK) and asked Thomas, our Co-Founder and CEO, what this means to him: "I started TravelLocal with the simple belief that travel can be better.   • Last week, we hosted some of our local partners for our bi-annual TravelLocal Partner Academy. Our Training and Community Manager, Dai hosted four sessions on how partners can elevate their teams' performance not by doing more, but by deciding better. ➔ Session 1: What GOOD Really Looks Like: Understand the hidden cost of being “just fine," whether you lead a team or manage your own requests and why plateau performance often feels comfortable before it becomes challenging. ➔ Session 2: What Gets In The Way: Identify patterns that may be limiting performance, from personalization and pricing confidence to navigating AI and uncertainty, and how to create the right environment for growth and ownership ➔ Session 3: What GREAT Makes Possible: Hear directly from partners in our Growth Project and see the decisions that helped close performance gaps between Local Experts, strengthen negotiation confidence, and scale sustainably. ➔ Session 4: Applying It To Real Life: Work through real scenarios, real trade-offs, and real conversations. Gain insight into how TravelLocal makes investment decisions and how you can influence outcomes through clearer signals and stronger collaboration. We are passionate about empowering our partners to unlock their full potential.

  • One of our favorite weeks of the year is finally here: it's ITB!  On Tuesday, we hosted some of our local partners for an evening of networking at our Mindspace office. We loved giving them an update on what's new at TravelLocal and chatting with them about how we can grow together.  We're looking forward to doing it all again this November at WTM.
