Integrated Employment Services (IES)
Employment Ontario’s Integrated Employment Services (IES) is a responsive, comprehensive and community-based employment service that provides job seekers with the necessary support they need to gain and maintain meaningful employment.
The Career Foundation is committed to ensuring that our delivery of the IES program is accessible, relevant, and tailored to the individual needs of our job seeker clients.
How We Support You
Through the IES program The Career Foundation provides:
- A comprehensive employment needs assessment
- Individualized employment action plans
- Résumé, cover letter, and interview preparation
- Group and individual job search support
- Access to short-term training
- Connections to workshops, hiring fairs, upskilling programs
- Job development and job matching with local employment opportunities
Whether you’re looking for your first job, changing careers, or re-entering the workforce, we will provide case-managed IES services until you are able to secure employment. You will also have our support throughout the first 12 months of your employment, ensuring successful workplace integration leading to long term employment retention.

Who Can Access These Services?
To be eligible for case-managed Integrated Employment Services, clients must be:
- A resident of Ontario
- Legal working age
- Eligible to work in Canada (open work permit, if applicable)
Important Eligibility Circumstances
Social Assistance Clients – All Social Assistance clients with open work permits are eligible for employment services, regardless of employment status or participation in education/training.
Our services are inclusive, at no cost, and are designed to meet you where you are.
