No, the games do not share developers most likely. It is common for games like these to purchase asset packs instead of making everything themselves. These packs are then also bought by other devs for their games. This is why you will see familiar scenes in Renpy games.

just a little heads up. I've a few scenes that I unlocked, but the game crashed afterward, and now those scenes are permanently locked.
The game KNOWS I have given Raine the risky set, but I cant see the scene in the statues menu.
this seems to have also happened to some of Fae's scenes from the tavern.
Can we have some kind of check implemented to unlock these if they should have been and cant be triggered again?
back up your saves, delete the entire folder, then get the downloader version. You can not overwrite the old version with the DL version. It will crash.
After installing the downloader version, you can drop your save files into the saves folder and launch. Launcher will let you download the latest files and you are good to go.
There is a 2GB limit for Itch, the downloader is required for them to keep adding more content. I dont know if they can do .part files for Itch.
