This was inspired by kate_lear's fanfic "Winter's Delights"
I had wanted to create fanart for one of her stories for the longest time. Then I finally said I would, BUT IT TOOK ME FOREVER. I'm sorry.

I decided to do the scene where John is introduced to Sherlock's parents because I wanted to see how I would interpret them. They seem like such a lovely couple too. And their interaction with John was just adorable.
In the end I based them off of Benedict's parents because HEY. He looks like them.

Disclaimer: We all know that I didn't come up with Sherlock Holmes. Nor did I create the BBC series. And this particular scene was inspired by jemisard's fic: "A Medical Examination of One Sherlock Holmes"

Okay. If you hadn't yet read the fic. Please do. I highly recommend it. It features a BAMFy Watson who stays in control, and struggles for dominance. IT IS SO HOT. AND I LOVE IT.
After reading it, I had to illustrate this scene. HAD to.

Something I have to confess though, is that I have trouble with anatomy at times... Also, I know the fic does a whole complete study on the injuries and scars on Sherlock's body. But I haven't had the time to incorporate those marks (let alone proper shading) to this drawing.

I hope this satisfies jemisard's tastes.

I have had a lot on my plate lately, and I also have had a lot of ideas on fanarts and I also promised to do several things as well. BUT DAMNIT NO. Uni has other plans for me. So many of my drawings are going unfinished. I figured I might as well submit this one, since it's as finished as it's going to get. I'm no good at perspective and anatomy yet anyway.

I believed I promised a family portrait for k_magique and sadynax.
This started off as a (conversation) with k_magique and how Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Turner would come together and try to one-up each other over how gay their tenants are. Since Mrs. Turner's are married, Mrs. Hudson's are adopting. HENCE.
But then sadynax beat me to it and drew a gorgeous family photo: (link)
I finished it anyway. At least tried to. I really did. :(

HAY GUESS WHUT?
I DREW A COMIC!

I have been hooked to the new Sherlock BBC television show.
And I've always been wondering about Watson's mustache. Or actually, the absence of it.
Well, okay. I understand that having a mustache nowadays really isn't...idk. Common?
I don't even know.
But anyways, I just wanted to draw John with a mustache.
Instead, I ended up making a comic because of (this) prompt on sherlockbbc_fic.

Now, before we get to the comic, I guess some background is needed inorder for this to make sense.
Let's say this is the period which John moves out and gets married. (I really hope this doesn't happen in the series...)
And I am no good with concepts or developing deep prompts that make sense. So this is kind of like a crack!fill.
Okay, now on to the comic!

Thought I'd take a shot at drawing Benedict's Sherlock and Martin's John.
Yup, I've gotten sucked into it after one episode.
Don't blame me. Blame the gay.
There was just an abundance of it, I couldn't get involved!

Also, it seems as though my style is changing.
Well, this is how you can tell I've drawn digitally rather than upload something hand-drawn.

Again, this is just practice.
I feel compelled to draw them properly before I start to put them in indecent positions. ;)

You know, when I was drawing this, I kept thinking they looked like Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy.
