I have used camguard 4.0.14.223 and 5.1.14.271 with w7 for a long time and work very well.
I now have a computer with w10 and have a problem with both versions.
I set it to record from 20.0.0 to 08.30, (late evening to next morning), 60 mins each recording and when i check the all the data, from 0.0.(midnight) to 08.30 am is all there but all earlier recordings from 20.0.0 (late evening) to midnight are all deleted.
Tried changing to 2 seperate recording times. 20.00.00 to 23.55, and then from 00.00.00 (midnight) to 08.30.0 and again all the late evening data is again deleted.
It is also possible to find security companies for homes that can detect flooding and water breaches or issues throughout the house itself, allowing you to remedy the problem as quickly as possible without expensive prices in damages. Keep a checklist and ask for a pamphlet of the type of services that each home security company you are interested in has to offer.
