Rich Man, Poor Woman: If you're not watching this WHY AREN'T YOU WATCHING THIS?? Best jdrama in ages, hands down.

Bridal Mask: I have to say this is losing some of its lustre because Kangto's development from misguided bastard to noble hero was the main draw for me. I also can't stand how much of the plot has become a tedious cat-and-mouse game between him and Shunji, who I have come to loathe with every cell of my being. But at least ep 17 had good development at the end and I still enjoy all the Kangto-Mokdan moments.

Lizzie Bennet Diaries: I've forgotten who it was on my flist who posted about this and introduced me to it, but THANK YOU. I absolutely adore it!! The casting is so perfect and I can't wait to see Darcy get introduced. For those who don't know, this is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice told through the personal vlogs of Lizzie Bennet, who has a youtube channel. It's super cute and well written and highly enjoyable for Austen fans. Here's a link to the channel playlist so you can check it out for yourself :)

Just starting the ep, but I had to stop and laugh at Kangto posing dramatically on the roof after delivering the bill of sales to the market people. I know your brother didn't do this shit, Kangto! He did his thing and went home! HE DIDN'T STAND ON ROOFTOPS FOR ACCOLADES.

More seriously, Shunji's transformation bothers me. It just doesn't seem realistic that someone with his personality and history of kindness and understanding would drop everything and do a 180 upon his brother's death - even if it was violent and he was witness to it. Because it didn't seem to me like they were close to begin with. I hope there will be scenes of Kangto as Gaksital "saving" Shunji and confusing the heck out of him, just like the scenes we got with KangSan.

For the people that watch Misfits, I am only on the second episode of season one, but I really don't know if I want to continue because I am so bothered by the superpower they gave Alisha.

I mean, seriously? I don't want to spend 3 seasons watching her almost getting raped in every other scene. I want to punch the writers so hard in the face.

This show is so... bipolar. It's like... HEY BODY SWAP! HAVE SOME FUNNY! MATSUDA SHOTA IS DOING A GROWLY YAKUZA VOICE! YAY! and then the next second it's all HERE'S A LITTLE BOY BEING ABUSED BY HIS PARENTS.

(I'm enjoying it though.)

It makes me laugh that Shirota is like the male version of Erika's character in Liar Game - she must have given him pointers :P

Zenkai Girl: Gakky is cute and her lil diva girlie is cute and even Nikishido Ryo, who I find really unattractive looks-wise is cute here.

Don Quixote: 15 mins into this one but gotta say I didn't know Matsuda Shota could do straight-laced incompetence with such flair.

Saigo no Bansan: worth it to watch Narimiya Hiroki do his flawless wounded villain act - wish he had top billing in the sequel rather than Miura the Impregnor.

Also have Arakawa Under The Bridge and Tempest (plus others but I can't recall them at the moment. I got trigger happy dl-ing last weekend).

SO MUCH CUTE!!!

So far I got more out of this OTP in that one glance than I have throughout the entire first six episodes.

How cute was Minhwan feeding Gyu Won? And Shin's reaction: PRICELESS. His faces, hahaha! I love Yong.

Lurve is watching a girl puke and only saying 'I told you so' once.

BUS RIDE OF CUTE. I don't even know.

I really ship them now! Yay!

PS. Park Shin Hye is in the hospital because of a car accident she was in earlier this week so episode 8 didn't air. Her injuries are reportedly not serious but she was too sore to continue filming. Poor baby, I hope she gets better soon.

You're Beautiful was very dumb. I don't remember the last time I watched anything with this level of dumbness and misogyny (naturally I ff'ed through pretty much 90% of it, I just wanted to watch Yong's scenes :P).

BUT!! I give to you THE best scene in this entire drama. Probably the only scene worth watching, IMO, besides the 'fanfic' fantasy.

LOL. The original song used in the drama was WAY funnier, but this is still awesome. I was all set to hate Jang Geun Suk in this but he is just too fabulous.

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE CAFE AU LAIT, BUSTER. I mean, you make her bring you coffee everyday just so you can tease her - that is textbook playground courtship! I think the best part is how he absolutely loves it when she sasses back. You know it's lurve when a girl writes a note saying she spit into your coffee and you think this is the absolute pinnacle of wittiness. BOYS.

(I do have to complain that there are too many side characters/plots going on. I like some of them - esp the new guy, he is fantastic, and Drummer/Bitchface!Dancer is GRAND - but others completely bore me.)

01. CITY HUNTER. Such glorious manpain from Prosecutor this week, I DON'T EVEN KNOW. He is total fodder for macros and gifs. Talk about poster child for emo. I cannot BELIEVE that lunchroom scene. GROWN ASS PEOPLE, man. And the bench of manpain was amazing. AMAZING. The way he looked so bewildered after his dad fell!! WELL PLAYED, MR PROSECUTOR. If anyone ever needed to get laid it's this guy. WHERE'S SAE HEE WHEN YOU NEED HERRR.

Kind of a prosecutor-centric week, so not very much in terms of Nana/YS but what we did get was delicious. Nana being too awesome!! Yoon Sung being so pleased with the tie he chose in 5 seconds!! Pouting when she tells him she's moved all her stuff out!! HER FACE WHEN HE GOES INTO THE HOTEL WITH THE SECRETARY!!! I ship them so hard omfg.

SPEAKING OF SHIPPING!!!!

I cannot believe I haven't seen any YS/Prosecutor slash because SERIOUSLY. THAT LAST SCENE. HAHAHA OMG. For reals I thought he was going to do CPR laskehslkdhg. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Also, Mom and YS reunited. I cried.

02. THEY ARE MAKING AN SP AND MOVIE FOR SPEC. WHICH IS ONLY THE GREATEST JDRAMA IN THE UNIVERSE.

03. NEW PURSES. I had two hours to spare today so I went shopping for a bit. Hee.

GUYS. I am so in love with the colour of this purse. IT'S JUST AMAZING AND PERFECT AND MY FAVOURITE COLOUR.

My god... this is lifted straight out of practically every other shoujo manga in existence.

Firstly I am so thankful that Park Shin Hye is like a different person in this - I COULD NOT EVEN GET THROUGH ONE EP OF YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. IT WAS SO TERRIBLE. (I'm sorry YAB fans, but that is just how I feel.) This, though? This I can get behind.

She is soooooo pretty and they look really good together. Yes, I have very deep and non-shallow reasons for liking this drama. But seriously, I really loved the way he looked at her in this bit:

And the final scene had to be the BEST set-down I've heard in a long time. YOU ARE GOOD JOB, PARK SHIN HYE!

My biggest problem is I can't tell if Yong is actually doing a good job acting in this or not. I just like him so much he could be completely awful and I wouldn't know.

I guess to sum up it would be if you like pretty people and shoujo-y plots of the inoffensive variety then go for this one.

Of course episode 11 was awesomeness too, but the kind of awesomeness that is IMPOSSIBLE to screencap. It basically fulfilled all my fantasies which you can read about here on Megan's lj.

First of all, I hope Evil Daddy realises what happens to you when you dare to touch Nana:

- This is pretty much the shippiest thing I have ever seen. Every single time I watch this show I think 'There is no way they could get any shippier' and EVERY TIME THEY PROVE ME WRONG.

- Such a goldmine of Yoon Sung being goofy, attractively tall!, and about five years old in his attempts at flirting. "I knew a girl like you. She was strong, ate a lot, and really liked it when I touched her." BWAHAHAHAAHA WHAT A DORK. I mean, GIANT PLUSH TEDDY IN HIS DRESSING ROOM. His condo must have felt too empty after living in Nana's palace of magical creatures. And the wink he gives her when she's hiding behind the sofa! Hee! I love how they regress to their kindergarten selves when engaging in courtship rituals.

- So many missed opportunities for MAKING OUT. I liked the backhug and all but MAKE OUT ALREADY. And the soap fight is a CLASSIC lead-in to sexy times and yet they squandered it!!!

- This show is amazing in its ability to give us exactly what we want literally as soon as we want it. I mean, last week we were all praying for the two of them to team up and lksdfjaslkghj WE GOT IT.

- CRIME FIGHTING. IN PINK SKINNY JEANS. Even hipsters would be jealous.

- asldkfjasldkfhasdf the embezzling minister keeping a giant stack of cash in his secret hidden room. OMFG. I think Prosecutor must have been a changeling.
