Our approach | Three pillars, one direction

Our strategy is structured around three pillars that reflect our priorities and guide our actions across Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, ensuring sustainability is embedded in every business decision.

Committed to people

Safe workplaces, inclusive culture, thriving communities.

Accountable for our environmental footprint

Climate action, circular economy, responsible resources.

Responsible for sustainable growth

Ethical excellence, innovation, and customer transition support.

1

COMMITTED
TO PEOPLE

Calderys aims to create a positive impact by fostering a safe, inclusive and fair workplace, supporting well-being and development of all employees, empowering communities and driving ethical practices throughout our value chain.

COMMUNITIES

Through education, infrastructure, and training programs, we create shared value and lasting benefits in our host communities. India remains a particularly important focus area for our community engagement.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Our Group-wide safety program “ safe. " aims to reach an injury-free workplace, built on four pillars: Safety First, Advancing Communication, Fostering Collaboration, and Encouraging Ownership.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

We recognize our responsibility to support skills development, both technical and managerial at all levels.

Accountable for ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT pillar

2

ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT

Calderys strives to reduce its environmental impact and advance sustainability through low-carbon innovation, circular practices, and responsible resource management.

Calderys established the foundations of its climate approach through a double materiality assessment and climate scenario analysis in 2024, followed by the launch of a Group-wide climate strategy, which continues to be developed.

FOCUS ON OUR DIRECT EMISSIONS

We recognize climate change as a critical global challenge. Through targeted actions and continuous improvement, we aim to minimize the impact of our activities.

Our Scope 1 & 2 emissions trajectory between 2021 and 2025 shows that the Group has broadly aligned with a pathway consistent with keeping global warming well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels. We aim to continue on this trajectory.

RESPONSIBLE FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

The Group aims to create long-term value for society through ethical excellence, and for business through innovative and sustainable solutions for customers.

RESPONSIBLE FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

ETHICAL
EXCELLENCE

Acting ethically means upholding the highest standards of integrity and fairness in all decisions. Our governance framework ensures transparency and accountability across the Group.

INNOVATION FOR RESPONSIBLE OFFERINGS

A significant part of our innovation strategy is focused on Responsible Offerings, supporting the energy transition, addressing raw material scarcity, reducing carbon footprints across full product lifecycles and enhancing safety with lower-toxicity solutions.
