SOAP: HONEY I WASHED THE KIDS the first time i smelled this soap i just fell head over heels in love. it smells like toffee, honey, and just so sweet and delicious. while using it i noticed that it lathers really really well, and it feels so nice and creamy! the scent doesn't linger on your skin for long (which is good because that would be overwhelming) but your bathroom will smell so heavenly after your shower! after i washed it off and dried my skin it didn't really feel as super soft as it did while i was showering (but if you use body lotion after your shower it really doesn't matter). there's also a honeycomb on the top of the soap which you can use as an exfoliator, so that's a definite bonus! this is my favorite scent that lush has to offer, and i will most definitely be repurchasing it in the future! FAVORITE SOAP EVER. note: don't buy the prewrapped ones because some of them come without the honeycomb on top! pick out a good sized chunk and let them wrap it up for you instead. - GRADE: A+
SOAP: PORRIDGE to say i was disappointed in this product is an understatement. basically, i smelled it in the store and it smelled so heavenly. it smelled like brown sugar and molasses and just absolutely amazing! when i bought a chunk and used it the next day i smelled something entirely different. the smell put me off so much that i couldn't even finish using it while showering. i literally used a bit of it on my left arm and just put it away. it was the smell that really threw me off. but it has oats in it so it's good if you're looking for a gentle exfoliator. but honestly i couldn't bear the smell, i really will not be buying this again. note: to use soaps from lush you cut up a good sized chunk and use it until it disappears, and then cut off another chunk, etc. one chunk should last you about 4-5 showers. - GRADE: C-
SOAP: BUFFY BODY BUTTER this was one of the first ever products i bought from lush (fun fact: it was first called buffy the backside slayer *cough* hey  arie_turner *cough* hahah). all you have to do is take the entire bar and use it to smooth out any bumps on your skin. i think it's great to use on your back and the back of your thighs but other than that it would be quite abrasive. it smells very pleasant.. sort of like an almond tart (but some people really didn't like the smell, idk why..) the best thing about buffy is that it leaves you feeling insanely moisturized. really awesome for using once a week! maybe even twice.. hahah. - GRADE: B
SHOWER JELLY: WHOOSH i'm so happy i decided to buy this (because i was a bit intimidated at first) but this is just absolutely amazing. you'll get a huge hunk of jelly so what you do is just break of a tiny bit, smush it into your loofah (lufa? luffa? idek) run it under water and it will lather like crazy! and with many products from lush a little bit goes a long way.. it smells so incredibly citrusy and fresh, it really wakes you up! and after you're out of the shower your skin will feel pleasantly moisturized (way more moisturized than any of the other soaps i've tried) I REALLY ADORE THIS SHOWER JELLY! - GRADE: A+
BATH MELT: MMM MELTING MARSHMALLOW MOMENT just plop this magical pink hunk of awesome into your bath and relax after a long day of work. it smells so sweet and delicious, but after dropping it in your bath the smell definitely mellows out. the water doesn't turn crazy bright but it turns to a very opaque baby pink which is really pretty! it's so extremely relaxing which i love! and it's also very moisturizing too! honestly the only reason i left the tub was because i had to pee HAHAH. i just wanted to lay in there for forever and ever and ever! - GRADE: A
BUBBLE BAR: CREAMY CANDY now people say you should only use half of it (so it could last you two baths) but i just used the whole bar. i'd rather take an incredible bubble bath than two mediocre ones, you know? now this makes a ton a ton a ton of bubbles which made me so incredibly excited! like the MMM, it doesn't turn the water a crazy bright color like other bath bombs/stuff from lush but it smells and feels incredible (in the bath and on your skin) and you'll just have the best bubble bath of your life, TRUST ME! - GRADE: A+
BALLISTIC: AVOBATH this is such a cool product, i love it! it smells really fresh, probably because of the lemongrass that's in it. when you drop it into your bath it turns the water to a bright green, which was so awesome to watch! it fizzles out but not too quickly, and it makes your bath smell so amazing. it's invigorating! - GRADE: A
BALLISTIC: BUTTERBALL i literally JUST used this before typing out this portion of my review. butterball has the most subtle sweet scent, it smells so much like vanilla, mmmm. when it melts into the bath and the ball start to fizz a ton of little chunks of cocoa butter come pouring out and it all melts into the milkiest bath ever. my skin has never, EVER felt this soft.. EVER. it feels like i exfoliated my skin a thousand times. THIS IS SO AMAZING, SO AMAZING. i will always be going back for more butterball! - GRADE: A+
PART TWO: MASSAGE BARS
MASSAGE BAR: STRAWBERRY FEELS FOREVER this massage bar is made out of strawberries but honestly when i smell it i just smell a general sweet smell, not exactly like strawberries but maybe more like strawberries and cream? heavy on the cream haha. but it smells really great and leaves your skin feeling nice and moisturized and very soft! - GRADE: B
MASSAGE BAR: SOFT COEUR this smells so incredibly good and chocolatey, i adore it! it actually smells a lot like honey i washed the kids (WHICH IS THE BEST SCENT EVER). what you have to do is just rub it onto dry skin (as always a little goes a long way) and massage it in. it smells gorgeous and very sweet and yummy! and it leaves you so ridiculously soft too! - GRADE: A
PART THREE: HAIRCARE
SHAMPOO: CURLY WURLY one of my favorite shampoos of all time. it does wonders for my dry, unruly, and curly hair. it looks intimidating in the pot because it's thicker, and chunkier than regular shampoos.. but once you form it into a lather it's just as smooth, if not SMOOTHER than normal shampoos. it smells like coconuts which is a definite plus! the only problem was the coconut pieces. i tried to rinse it out very thoroughly before getting out of the shower.. but after drying my hair i had enough coconut chunks in it to make a bounty bar, for real. be extremely thorough when you're rinsing it, trust me, IT'S WORTH THE HASSLE! - GRADE: A
CONDITIONER: AMERICAN CREAM this product surprised me so much, in a good way. just a tiny bit will make your hair so incredibly smooth and luscious. it feels really rich when you use it in the shower and after you rinse it out it leaves your hair feeling so incredibly soft! and it also smells like custard to me, vanilla custard. the smell combined with the curly wurly shampoo left my hair smelling like dessert the whole day. I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS CONDITIONER, SO MUCH. - GRADE: A+
TREATMENT: JASMIN AND HENNA FLUFF-EAZE this is a pre-shampoo treatment (for frizzy, wavy, unruly, thick, or curly hair) which is so convenient. you just slap it on your hair as it is and leave it in for 20 minutes, then shampoo it out and condition if you want to (you totally should, js). it smells like jasmine in the pot, which was lovely. the description says that you should use 1/4 of the pot for short hair, the full pot for long hair, or 1/2 the pot for hair that's in between. my hair is pretty long and super thick and i used 1/3 of the pot which was plenty! and because this product doesn't expire until 14 months after you purchase it, and you can use it once every 2-3 weeks it should last you a pretty long time! this was heaven in a pot for me.. after showering, shampooing and conditioning i had cashmere soft hair, i am not even kidding. this is magnificent, a godsend for thick curly hair. i highly recommend this! - GRADE: A+
PART FOUR: SKINCARE
CLEANSER: ANGELS ON BARE SKIN i heard so much about this product so obviously i really really really wanted to try it! now it does smell kind of weird, kind of herbal and grassy. but it feels incredible on your skin! what you have to do is take a pea sized amount, add a little water and form it into a paste and use it to cleanse your face. it has tiny bits of almonds in it that very gently exfoliate your skin too. it's lovely for everyday use, i love using this every morning! I WILL USE THIS FOREVER AND EVER. - GRADE: A+
CLEANSER: ULTRABLAND this is a super rich super moisturizing cleanser that will remove the most stubborn forms of make up. after using it your skin feels soft, and moisturized (but if you don't use a toner you will feel quite greasy since it's so thick). you use it on dry skin, and it doesn't have an overwhelming smell which awesome! it's great for cleansing in the morning (if you have dry skin, it would be too overwhelming for oily or combination skin), and even better as make up remover! - GRADE: A-
CLEANSER: BABY FACE this can also be used as a make up remover (but i find ultrabland better for that). since it's a massage bar you melt it in your hands, and massage it onto your face, you then use a toner and moisturizer and your skin will feel lovely and baby soft! it smells like tangerines, and i just adore using it at night (it's so relaxing). i have so much love for baby face. - GRADE: A
EXFOLIATOR: OCEAN SALT the first ever product i bought from lush, and i still keep going back for more! you use this as a facial scrub (once every 2-3 days) and you can use it as an all over body exfoliator too! it smells like the sea side, very fresh and vibrant! it has large chunks of sea salt that work as an amazing exfoliator, I JUST REALLY LOVE THIS PRODUCT! note: when you first buy it all the salt is at the top of the pot so you have to make sure you mix everything very thoroughly so the salt is well distributed. - GRADE: A
TONER: BREATH OF FRESH AIR i've never really used that many toners before but this is by far my favorite one! it doesn't dry you out at all (which i find was the problem with most toners) and it leaves you feeling refreshed and very clean! this is a staple in my everyday skin routine and i just love it to bits! - GRADE: A
MOISTURIZER: CELESTIAL i cannot get over how good this smells! it has a really rich scent, kind of like dessert haha. it smells like almonds and milk, kind of like rice pudding or something. for application you just need a tiny tiny amount and you'll be good to go! it's extremely rich and moisturizing and lasts all day. unfortunately, it was a bit too rich for my skin and caused me to break out (i have combination skin), but if you have dry sensitive skin this is for you! - GRADE: A-
FACE MASK: CUPCAKE i used this a few years back when my skin used to break out a lot. it smells like chocolate, with a hint of mint (it's lovely!) i remember that it dried out really quickly and was messy to remove but it left my skin very clean and soft! unfortunately it didn't really do much for my breakouts.. but maybe that was just my skin (you could always ask for a tester and see how it works on yours!) - GRADE: B
FACE MASK: LOVE LETTUCE this smells of lavender, it's very calming and lovely and smooth. it doesn't dry out like the other face masks from lush so it was very easy to take off! it calmed my skin down and worked exactly how a mask should, it did a great job. really good for normal/combination skin! - GRADE: A-
FACE MASK: BB SEAWEED i wanted to love this but it just didn't do it for me. it was messy to apply, and remove and it kept falling off my face (not fun at all, meh). it didn't smell that nice either. it just didn't make much of a difference for my skin. but as always, if you think it might suit your skin type you should ask for a sample and test it out (or ask the consultants which mask would be suitable for you skin type) this just might be the right mask for you! - GRADE: C
FACE MASK: CATASTROPHE COSMETIC this is my favorite smelling mask from lush! it's very fresh and would really soothe my skin (that tends to break out before PMS). this doesn't dry out at all and was so easy to apply/remove. i didn't have FLAWLESS skin afterwards (which i wasn't expecting, obviously) but it did soften my skin, and leave it clean, refreshed, and soothed. this is a mask i will definitely repurchase! - GRADE: A
CLEANSER: GREASE LIGHTNING this is an awesome antibacterial gel for pimples, IT'S A LIFESAVER! if you apply it at night you will see a visible difference the next morning! and you can reapply it during the day for better results too. you can also use this all over your face before your period so you won't break out as much. very very very useful product (and it also has a shelf life of 14 MONTHS!) - GRADE: A
BODY LOTION: DREAM CREAM absolutely divine. it smells very herbal (if it doesn't put you off you should DEFINITELY start using this) but it makes your skin feel so unbelievably soft and moisturized! it literally lasts all day.. and even the next morning. one of my favorite products ever, i really adore this so much. PLEASE DO TRY IT! and don't let the slightly herbal smell put you off, it's incredible.. TRUST ME! - GRADE: A+
BODY LOTION: CHARITY POT if you really can't stand the smell of dream cream you could try this lotion. it's not as moisturizing but it smells a lot better! and the proceeds go to charity so that's really wonderful. it has a very clean scent to it and it isn't overwhelming at all. it's not bad, it's actually really good (just that i found the dream cream more moisturizing) but you should definitely give this one a try! - GRADE: A
SERUM: FULL OF GRACE i think i might have had an allergic reaction to this.. it caused me to break out and stuff which kind of bummed me out because you can do so much with this bar! you can use this before applying a face mask, or combined with your moisturizer for an intensive overnight cream, or on it's own as a regular moisturizer. it's made out of mushrooms so it doesn't exactly smell heavenly, but it's multipurpose and i love that! - GRADE: B
PART FIVE: MISC
SOLID PERFUME: HONEY I WASHED THE KIDS when i saw this at the counter i just pounced, without even smelling it (bad idea). first of all, it's so difficult to use. you could warm it up in your hands but it just doesn't do the trick for me, idk why. and second of all it smells SO different than honey i washed the kids! it doesn't smell lovely and sweet like honey, it has this overwhelming powerful sweet smell that was just too much for me to bear. if you use a tiny tiny amount it would be good i guess, but idk i didn't really love it like i thought i would.. it's kind of like the knock-off honey i washed the kids.. - GRADE: C-
CUTICLE BUTTER: LEMONY FLUTTER another multipurpose product from lush, woo! you can use this on your cuticles (obviously, hahah) as a lip balm, on your elbows or knees or any dry spots you have, it's gorgeous! it has this fresh lemony smell which is lovely as well. and it's just really great to have on hand! - GRADE: A
LIP SCRUB: BUBBLEGUM i honestly expected to like the sweet lips one more but the bubblegum was just amazing. basically what you do is you take just a little bit of the sugar and use it to scrub your lips and then you.. wait for it.. LICK IT OFF. YES, IT'S EDIBLE. this product amuses me to no end (because hello, lush, that's edible? FUCK YES) i seriously love the way it makes my lips feel and taste and just GAH this is beyond awesome! - GRADE: A
LIP SCRUB: SWEET LIPS i only tried this lip scrub at the store but it works exactly the same way as the bubblegum one (so it's just a matter of preference and which one tastes/smells better) i found it had this slightly weird tasting sweetness, it felt too artificial in a way. smells really good though! - GRADE: B
