Malcom is a Doctoral candidate at Simon Fraser University in the Aerospace Physiology laboratory. His research focuses on the effects of microgravity on cardiopostural responses in the human body, and how deconditioning caused by long-duration bed rest results in fainting and blood pressure control issues.
