Standing With Immigrant Families

In an immigration emergency, every moment matters. As federal immigration policies can change rapidly, it is important to stay informed about what is happening in your community.

Find Someone in ICE Detention

Note: It may take several days for ICE to update their records.

To locate an individual who may be in immigration detention, you will need their A-Number (Alien Registration Number). The A-Number is available on USCIS documents, visa stamps, or other immigration paperwork.

Contact the closest embassy or consulate office of the detained person’s country of citizenship. These foreign mission offices can provide some legal and other assistance to their nationals to the extent that they are aware that their national is being detained.
