They take forever to issue refunds and very disappointing
They take forever to issue refunds. I’m still waiting. It’s been two and half months. They keep telling me that it is under process. At this point, they are not responding to my emails. If we call the customer care service, they will say that I ll get a call back which never happened.
Worst management ever
I have been living in one of their buildings for quite some time, and it has been an absolutely frustrating experience due to their poor management. My apartment was flooded for three days, with water seeping in through the roof, walls, and even the power outlets, creating an unsafe living environment. Despite repeated calls for help, the building management did nothing to address the issue or ensure my safety.
Today, they reserved both elevators simultaneously, leaving me with no choice but to carry four 23kg bags up 20 flights of stairs. The stairwell itself was cramped, making the task even more difficult. When I called the management for assistance, their only response was that the technician would come “when he gets there.” This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable.
Evil
Evil. Pure evil. The management is lazy and indifferent. Tenants have do go 18 hours w/o water bc they don't care. Also, you can forget about repairs.
Avoid at any cost
My experience with this property management company at Suite 305, 150 Allan in Oakville has been nothing short of a disaster. After this boutique building was purchased by the current management, the quality of service plummeted drastically. Residents, including myself, have been subjected to endless frustrations due to their unprofessional, hypocritical, and deceitful behavior.
Despite paying a staggering $2500 per month for a one-bedroom apartment, I was left with a broken refrigerator and a barely functioning air conditioner for two months, without any proper resolution. Instead of addressing these issues, the management focused on stripping the building of its amenities. They removed all storage lockers, took away all the furniture and decorations from common areas, and are now planning to remove air conditioners from all apartments—a move that is utterly unacceptable.
The management, particularly individuals like Jaafar, Branka, and Magdalena, have shown a complete lack of respect for the residents. They have disregarded prior verbal agreements, such as the approval of a painted wall in my apartment, and now they are attempting to extort additional charges after my move-out, despite clear evidence that the apartment was left in a satisfactory condition.
It is no surprise that this company has abysmal ratings across multiple platforms—1.3 stars on Yelp from 9700 reviews, 1.8 stars on Google, and 2 stars on RentTheLandlord. This company pretends to be a large, professional operation, but they are nothing more than unprofessional, hypocritical, and deceitful operators who have no regard for their tenants. My lawyer is already preparing a formal complaint, and I strongly advise anyone considering renting here to look elsewhere. The constant decline in service and complete lack of communication are simply unacceptable.
Avoid this company at all costs if you value your peace of mind and your money. Their behavior is disgraceful, and their management practices are beyond reproach.
Worst rental experience ever!
Worst rental experience ever! I can't believe I actually have to put one star! After administration doing literally nothing to fix the plumbing after my apartment had flooded 1 DAY AFTER I MOVED IN, it then proceeded to flood 2 additional times. I basically begged them to put an overflow valve in our kitchen sink which they never did, even after telling me that this frequently happens in their buildings and that they have had to put these valves in previously in other units. I was furious from day one. Their tenant portal is focking brutal! signing in is a nightmare, submitting notice of leaving is a nightmare, trying to get ahold of an actual human to speak to about this is a nightmare. Absolutely horrible. I strongly discourage anyone from applying to rent any apartment under interrent, irent, or CLV group! WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER!
Absent Landlord
This company takes advantage of people because they know that it's hard to find a place to rent in certain areas. I have had nothing but problems with their administration. Their hours are during normal working hours, and they aren't flexible so if you need anything you will have to take time off work to be around for them. The most recent example that really angered me was the situation regarding replacing the fobs for the building. I showed up at the appointed time (making me late for work), and they announced that they couldn't actually hand out the fobs at that time because there was a problem with them. I can't get away from work early on such sort notice, so I couldn't return by the end of the day to get the new fob for the building. I asked them to drop it off in my apartment and they assured me that they would.... but they didn't. It took a full week and multiple phone calls for me to finally get my fob... and I only got it after I threatened to take legal action because they were switching to the new system the next morning and they STILL hadn't delivered the fob to me so that I could get back into the building.
The lack of service they provide their renters is inexcusable in general, but on top of that their rent is way overpriced at a few hundred dollars over the average in my area. It's criminal.
The worst management ever
The worst management ever. How many times we take the effort to give the feedback they never gonna change. I just moved in to the 6950 Avenue Fielding apartment 302. The issue is about the parking, when we came for the viewing the executive has showed us a few parking slots in that he particularly mentioned 34 is available. Then we said okay and signed the lease agreement, a few days before we move in they gave us 37 which is not comfortable to me to park so I asked them that I don’t want 37 and I want 34 which they previously showed us. The interrent management says that is available but we have to raise request after a long waits and talks they said they have other slot which is 42. We signed the agreement for 42 and we moved in. Now the staff member in the building was very rude and saying it isn’t available. The management and the staff doesn’t have a coordination they say whatever they like. I don’t recommend interrent. Please make sure everything before you move in don’t trust them
30 Edith Dr by CLV and InterRent.
I live in building 30 Edith drive Toronto ON and I only have complaints, both about the company itself and the employees who work in the building daily. I have a truck and even though the building has a garage that can fit my car, they don't allow me to park there, because they consider this garage (for more than 10 cars) to be for employees only, even though I offer to pay. So I am forced to park on the street, and when there is no space, I park in the building's visitor parking, and the employee threatens daily that he will call parking enforcement to impose fines. Several residents have already been fined within the condominium itself. In addition, a pet spa was promised that was never completed and a gym that was never completed. Before they took over the building we had several trash baskets scattered around and now there are none, neither in the garage nor in the lobby, and they never respond to residents' requests when we try to contact them.

Car rental that scams you
Car rental that scams you! First and last time I rent anything from this frauds.
GOLDCAR (key n go) are a total rip off
GOLDCAR (key n go) are a total rip off! Never to be used again. Rented a car, and we had a delay during the flight. Upon arrival they were closed and the next morning, they refused to give us the car, while keeping the money!
Ordered and paid online with my debit…
Ordered and paid online with my debit card and also paid for the extra insurance at the same time. Go to pick up the car at Alicante airport and get charged an extra €240 because they claim they cannot accept a debit card, that they can only block out security deposit on a credit card, so I have to take extra insurance costing €240. They did block out €150 for fuel on the same debit card (no questions asked). Their attitude is pay the extra €240 or clear off and lose all the money you have already paid. This is a firm of lying, cheating criminals that need to be closed down by the Spanish authorities. This is all a con because a debit card is safer for them than a credit card because blocking out a payment on a debit card absolutely guarantees that you have the funds and that they will be paid, with a credit card you can cancel the payment in minutes after you leave and they will not be paid. NEVER BOOK A CAR with KeycarGo the price you have to pay is considerably more that the price advertised, and much more expensive than any other car rental company in the whole world.
Avoid Goldcar and InterRent - they take payments from your credit card without permission
We rented and returned a car from Malaga airport form Goldcar /Interrent. The price was reasonable. We retunred the car undamaged and the Goldcar representative inspected the car on retuarn and confirmed at drop off that there was no damage. We subsequently got a claim for damages that were not there and we did not cause and they took money from our credit card without permission. I've written to them 3 times without a satisfactory response. It seems they have a scam whereby they advertise a cheap price and then add a further €150 on return. If that is the price of rental they should advertise that and that should be the contracted price, it is not fair, honest or reasonable to take a futher amount from our credit card without our permission.
Awful - avoid like the plague
They tried to pressurise me into buying more insurance and also promised a refund the day the car was returned - needless to say I haven't had the refund. The car itself was covered in small scratches, many of which were not shown on the document they wanted me to accept showing its condition. We had to make them change their report to show all the additional damage.
When we returned the car the last remaining member of their staff just walked past us and drove away!
I would never use this company again.
Bullies and scammers
Interrent staff at Alicante airport bullied us into buying extra insurance & tried to make us upgrade the car to be hired. We refused so were made to wait & given a car with a lot of scratches on the bodywork. On returning the car a week later we were accused of making the seats wet and stained - complete lies - the photo shows that the seats had been sat on!! We could not discuss the matter with the car 'inspector' as he suddenly didn't understand English, but were charged 150 euros for cleaning. We have tried complaining to Interrent directly - no reply! We booked via Autoeurope who appear to be helpful but strangely they are unable to do anything! We felt we were punished by Interrent for having a cheap deal for the car rent - they are bullies and scammers.
Contrary Positive Experience
Like some others on here, I booked through DoYourSpain for a car in Tenerife, and only saw the Trust Pilot reviews after booking. However, my experience with InterRent was entirely positive. There weren’t any hidden fees - these are all clear prior to making the booking, the InterRent representative at Tenerife South Airport encouraged me to thoroughly document the condition of the car, there was no hard sell on insurance, and there were no problems when I returned the car. I was also charged exactly what was specified.
As long as you thoroughly document the condition of the car upon collection, and bring it back in the same condition, with a full tank, there shouldn’t be problems.
Quality rental at a very reasonable price.
They’ll steal your money.
They take €70 in case you don’t return the car with a full fuel tank. What they don’t tell you is they use some of that to clean the car. The car wasn’t pristine but it was far from dirty. They charged me €35 to clean the car. Basically theft.
SHOCKING rip off
SHOCKING - please avoid. Zero stars
I booked a car for 6 days, My flight was delayed so I couldn't pick up the car on the Sunday as planned. Arrived Monday morning Interent told me they cancelled my booking as I was a no show with no refund. They then told me I could still book a car at twice the original price. I tried to explain that the car is booked for me all week, and arriving 12 hrs late should not matter, especially with recent delays etc... They were not interested.
I am still fighting them 1 month on...
Avoid .....
Having read the other reviews it seems I don`t need to go into detail of the practices of this company....
Scam
Upon return of the car, they charged us two scratches front and back of the car that were definitely not ours. The car had lots of scratches when picked up (in the dark), so stay away from INTERRENT. Real SCAMMERS!
