    Effective delegation is one of the hardest leadership skills to master. Most of us hold onto the belief that “it’s faster if I just do it myself.” In the moment, that might be true. But over time it becomes a major blocker to business growth and leadership effectiveness. Here’s what we teach leaders about delegating well. It rests on five crucial pillars: 1- Delegate OUTCOMES, not tasks Give clarity on the “why” and the result that matters. 2- Delegate the right things to the right person Match responsibilities to strengths, readiness, and development goals. 3- Provide resources, not rescue Offer tools, context, and support but resist stepping in at the first sign of struggle. Growth requires discomfort. 4- Set clear checkpoints and trust the space in between Micromanagement prevents progress. 5- Define limits and constraints based on risk Make the boundaries and decision-making authority explicit before the work begins.
