Delegates who pass the FireQual exam will receive a regulated qualification in the Fundamentals of the Recommendations for Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems in Non-Domestic Buildings at Ofqual Level 3, which meets the requirements of the BAFE SP203-1 scheme in terms of a “regulated qualification in BS 5839-1 with design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance content (Level 3 or higher)”.

An intensive one-day BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm systems design course taught by an industry expert. Attendees will develop further the knowledge gained from our foundation course and/or their own industry experience in system design.
A two-day BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system installation and commissioning course taught by a highly qualified industry expert. Attendees will build on the knowledge gained from our BS 5839-1 foundation course and/or their own industry experience.
A one-day BS 5839-1 fire detection and alarm system maintenance course taught by an industry expert. Attendees will develop further the knowledge gained on our BS 5839-1 foundation course and/or their own industry experience of the maintenance of fire systems.
A five-day fast-track course comprising all aspects of BS 5839-1. Taught by an industry expert, this intensive week-long course covers Foundation, Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance to equip delegates with the knowledge and expertise they need to gain an industry-recognised qualification through FireQual, the specialist awarding body for the fire protection sector in the UK. The exam itself will take place at the end of the week.
An examination and half-day refresher course for delegates who have successfully completed all of C-TEC’s BS 5839-1 courses. Successful completion of the exam will lead to an industry-recognised qualification through FireQual, the specialist awarding body for the fire protection sector in the UK.
