This was actually a really simple icon.

I take this cap, resize, crop and sharpen.

We add a Brightness Layer with 30+ and set it on Screen at 100%

Then a Selective Color with Black's Black up to 80+. Duplicate it.

Then we add Vibrance 100+ and Saturation 20+

And we're done C: I think the original one has a gradient layer on for the lighting? But it's the closest I can get to recreating without the psd.
