Burf Robotics is the work of Simon Burfield — a robotics engineer, iOS and Android developer, and creative technologist based in the UK with over 20 years of experience in software engineering, prototyping, and automation.
Simon has worked across iOS, Android, Azure, .NET, AI, and robotics — building apps for brands like O2 and Hotels.com, and developing AI-driven tools and search engines. A CTO Academy graduate, he combines deep technical skills with product and leadership experience.
Simon owns and operates one of the UK’s most varied collections of advanced robots — including multiple Sanbot units (Android-based), an AfoBot smart companion, and a custom-built InMoov humanoid. These robots are available for events, demos, and education.
