[052] Another Loss
[Usagi is in her room, arms wrapped tightly around herself as she sits on the bed with her knees drawn up to her chest. It's as if she wants to quite literally try to hold herself together, as if she might break into pieces if she lets go.
Every loss brings other losses to mind, and always the fear of truly ending up alone. Her mind counts them like beads: Ami (twice), Makoto, Minako, Chibi-Usa (twice), Michiru (twice), Haruka, Mamoru...)
Her breath is shaky, her voice a bit ragged, but she tries to muster enough control to say it.]
Everyone, Michiru-san went home again.
I'm going to go out for awhile later.
[She has to get away; it's not helping when everywhere she looks in the temple, she sees Michiru's things, or painting Michiru has done. When she's away and can pretend she's been mature, she can let herself cry forever.
Later in the day, she'll be found by the name tree or the old playground.]
