FROM SELF → BRAND → BUSINESS

From Story to Brand

Curriculum begins with something deeper: students learning how to tell their own story.

Before students design anything, they reflect on:

  • Who they are
  • How they see themselves
  • How others experience them
  • What they care about and do well

Students start by creating a short personal narrative; a powerful SEL moment that builds confidence, voice, and self-awareness.

What Students Create and Build

Students don’t just learn branding. They experience what it feels like to understand themselves, understand brands, and create something real.

Students will:

  • Design logos, ads, and social-style graphics for their FamBiz business

  • Create a personal brand video that helps them reflect on who they are and how they want to be seen
  • Learn what a brand is and why it matters beyond logos. Analyze familiar brands to understand how branding shapes perception

  • Apply branding ideas to real business decisions in the FamBiz simulation

  • Build creative confidence, communication, and digital literacy

BUILT FOR EDUCATORS

This expansion pack is classroom-ready and easy to implement, whether you have one class period or an entire week.

Educators receive:

  • Guided student activities and prompts
  • A step-by-step Adobe Express introduction

  • Flexible pacing (60 minutes to multi-day projects)
