I suspect this will be one of the top requests from users until it is actually implemented. I am too missing the visual notification of the download progress.

I would also like to add myself to this list of people that have progress bars missing. Is there anyone who Does have the progress bars? If so let us know.
Also it is awkward having to right click on a tab to close it. Is there a quicker, more intuitive war of doing this? It was very in older versions to close individual windows using the close button.

Thanks

@sirphonix : noone does have the colors, thats why this bug filed... and the _usual_ middle click works fine for closing tabs...

I'd really like to see the green progress bar back, it's irritating to not see how far it has gone.

I also hate the fact that you removed the green and red progress bar,it's so irritating...

Please consider the fact that it wasn't removed by purpose. The new GUI DC++ switched to needed a complete rework of the visuals and the transferbar coloring is not so trivial as before. It will be back asap...

I think the newest version of DC++ sucks immensly. I don't see anything better about it, and lots of things worse. Chunked downloads that you can't turn off, tabs that are a pain in the ass to close, no progress bar for downloads, its ugly, it restores from the system tray underneath all of the other windows. How the hell can they even call this a new version? Nothing was improved.

Is there any way to roll back to the old version, and not have it bug you to update to the newer version every time you start it up?

Yeah, they say that they are working on all of these issues for the next release. But who knows when that will be, it doesn't seem like they release that often.

There was long gap between .699 and .705 due to the major changes that went into it. I can't speak for certain, but I don't expect the next release to take as long.
