Went to AHS with me, and we became friends soph year in geometry, and were in advanced choir together, (god i miss that, and lots of other AHS stuff) went to disney world together (along with the rest of Adv Choir) senior year, and i believe we went on the same senior retreat. We used to eat lunch together every free period freshman year at BU, and now i hardly see her. talk to her online a lot though, bitching about ethics (thank god that class is over) and other evil classes that we have.

I dont think i have ever seen her up there though, She too is an education major, so maybe i will run into her next year when i get into teacher ed, but who knows. to which i get to class and sit in the back, next to her - the her that was talking to He was talking to last class.... i did get stared at again today though... he stares and i get no words... atleast today i know he wasnt staring thinking, why the hell does her hair do that weird frizzy thing, as it was very flat and wet due to the running lateness... so maybe he was wondering if that was the only way i could keep it from doing the weird frizzy thing....

had harlan today while here mom was at school. She was in the weirdest mood.

finally went to the grocery. spent lots of money. on all kinds of food, none of which i want to eat tonight.

still have one more book to get, i have to get to the bookstore early tomorrow tos ee if they have it, before my class tomorrow at 925. i hate mornings.

other than that not to much going on. just been hanging out at home, babysitting, and attempting to catch up on sleep... which hasnt really been happening so much here latly.

ok what my 9 or 10 year old self never understood about Dirty Dancing:
* that Penny was pregnant
* that Penny had an abortion
* that Robbie was the one who got her pregnant... i mean i knew everyone hated him but i never really knew why..
* i remember never understanding what they were saying when Baby and Johnny were dancing and singing "Sylvia. Yes Mickey. How do you call your lover boy.." that whole scene i never understood what they were really saying... and i never understood what max was saying when he says "do you have sheet music on this stuff?"
* i never understood why it was such a big deal for Johnny and Baby to be together.
* and i think that this was probably the most surprising thing for me... Baby is only 17. 17! in my head she was atleast 20 something when i was younger, but watching it now, she was 17, just finished HS, starting college in the fall, etc. and im still not sure how old Johnny was supposed to be... i know he was older than her.. im just not sure exactly how much older...

yeah ok, on that note, i will leave now before everyone realizes i am crazy.

i think thats all i have seen out of those... i could have missed a few though...

so last night i was again up tunil about 5:30 which sucks, i think part of the reason this time though was that it was so freaking cold in my house, and ever COLdER outside. damn louisville weather, 70 on sunday and by tuesday it was 20, evilness.

so while awake last night i watched one of the movies i bought yesterday..i watched dirty dancing.
ok while i have always liked the movie, i have not ever REALLY seen it before, as the last time i watched it was probably before i was 13 (and im now 20 so... how long is that... 7 years. thats a long time) I watched it all the time when i was little. I loved the music and all the dancing scenes (as i myself was a dancer) so from time time i was about 4 to i dunno prolly about 10 ot 11, i watched it a lot - well that and nightmare on elm street, foul play, and indiana jones and the temple of doom - yes i know i was a weird child - anyway the point being was that i never really knew what it was about, since when i god older my mother hid the tape so that my little 12 or 13 year old self would not watch it and come asking questions - now i find this humorous that this is the ONLY video censoring that my mother has ever done - hell i have watched horror movies since i was three, she just isnt one to really care about movies and all that they supposedly inflict, prolly has something to do with her reading books all the time, and if someone where to censor what she reads she would be pissed so i guess maybe thats why she didnt do it to her kids - anyway, yeah the point of this rant on movies, my mother, and my childhood, was simply that i have never really seen dirty dancing as an adult before - still a great movie, and i still love it - just thought it was interesting that A i had not seen it in atleast 7 years and B weird to know what a movie is really about....thats what happens when you watch movies when you are little and then later as an adult i guess...............................

can i just say how happy i am, that i just went out and bought 2 movies and a calender for less than $20 :)
now in all actuallity ahve i not ahve a gift certificate the movies would have been more, but since i had a $15 gift certificate the movies were only $8! and the calender was 50% off as it is after the new year and all, so it was only $6!!

I love it!!
I now own Dirty Dancing (we have it somewhere but its my moms and i think she hid it from me again, so i bought my own copy :-P )
and i now own Empire Records! (i had a copy of it, but now i own it, its mine!!!!
god i love both those movies... which shall i watch first??

and the calender... its a Dr. Seuss Calender, this year Dr. Seuss would turn 100 if he were still alive.its so cute, it came with all kinds of stickers, and its all Dr Seussy and has excerpts and pictures from his books. its great!

and i also have my "friendship quote" desk calender from Tiff, some of them are humorous, crack me up like yesterdays- "go through your phone book, call people and ask them to drive you to the airport. The ones who will drive you are your true friends. The rest are not bad people, they are just aquaintances" - jay leno

School starts back tomorrow... yuck :-P

didnt do much today.
i was up until after 6am lastnight/this morning.... to rephrase i didnt go to bed until after 6 am....

reasons why i need a job:
1. I need to fix the motors in my power windows because i am sick of everything in the back seat getting wet when it rains and not being able to get the damn windows all the way up.
2. One of the back speakers in my car just went out and it is the most annoying thing in the world to listen to.

i had $3 to my name earlier and i spent 2 of it, so now i have a dollar... woo hoo. And little to nothing in the bank, like not really even enough to go by a box set of DVDs
So cross your fingers that one of the places calls me... The daycare person that is in charge of hiring is out of town until Jan 7th they told me to call back then and set up an interview time... sooo.... hopefully.... but Jan 7 seems so far away... its really only like a week, and will come quicker than i think since i have to start back to school then but still.

Nothing else really has been going on, hence the no updates in a few days... spent 2 days sitting infront of the computer Coding a New layout, and i liked it but i decided to jsut stick with my component layout, which made me sad because there was 2 days of coding down the drain... i cant imagine if i had to do the whole thing myself and wasnt just editing cherrystyle codes..... crazy. So if anyone wants a really nice orlando bloom layout, lemme know i have all the coding for it!

New years plans.... have none... going to party somewhere, somewhere that involves drinking.... if i am not babysitting i am going to enjoy this new years and just have a good ol' time!

ok just spend seriously all day editing codes from cherrystyle to fit my lj,a dn i finish and i like what i had better....so sad, spend all that time and didnt really like it :(

my bro called, they are comming out to my nannys tomorrow, which means i do get to see them all for xmas!!!! this makes me very happy :) no longer pissed about not seeing them.

went today and delivered cookies to Becky and Kelli.
while at Kelli's I got to see the baby, hes no cute, looks similar to Noah but not really all that much.
then went to Beckys talked to her, Chase is crawling now, and shes not sure if i am going to be watching them or not next semester.... i think im gonna have to get a job.... a real one, no more babysitting, which means i wont get to watch Noah and Evan... :( because i could only watch them 3 days a week and 90.00 a week to live on just doesnt work.

helped my mom put all the shitloads of cookies in boxes today to give out on xmas eve
while she proceeded to tell me that i didnt help her at all and no one did and blah blah blah
i was sick, i couldnt help bake cookies with her like i promised, i had pneumonia!
then to try and make it up to her i convinced my sister to come over and help me wrap all the presents from my mom to all the extened family so my mom could work on cookies and presents would be one less thing she had to do, and then she bitches that the help didnt come until saturday and that just wasnt soon enough, we should had started earlier and blah blah blah! nothing is ever good enough for her. ugh. never the less all the presents are wrapped, the cookies are all boxed, and everything is ready for wednesday.

on another note, i dont think im gonna get to see my nephew on christmas eve or christmas, how bad does that suck, not going to get into it now, dont want not, it pissed me off.

Laura found out shes having a boy.... found out a while back just dont remember if i posted it or not.

and Glenda (my sisters mom) and Mel (her partner) find out what Mel is having and how many in about 9 weeks... weird, that just seems to soon. Its weird to think that in a few months i will have a new sibling or siblings...that are not technically any relation to me at all, but they will be.... boy my family just gets more and more complex every day.... we are really starting to border on that "you might be a redneck if" family.....

well i guess im off to bed now.....

Went to see ROTK today! It was Awesome!! My dad didnt get to go though, so i will prolly go with him to see it next weekend.... :)

I have to say i was disappointed with Legolas's character in this one. his part was not really that much, i mean he had very few lines, and he did some cool shit on a fucked up elephant that was about it. he is still damn sexy though, i would have his babies.... but ya know as much as i love legolas/orlando, i have to say the Aragorn apealed to me more this time around, he was all sexy with his king sword and taking charge and whatnot.

Also really kept waiting to see Frodo kiss Sam and it just never happened, they did a good job makeing EVERYONE believe that they may though, all that tention and then he kisses his forhead.

on a different note, why did they not end it as the book ends and have the fellowship all leave with gandolf? would have been better...

Well thats all i have to say for now, i got 3 hrs of sleep last night and i am beat... so not to much on thoughts tonight

Had out Solstice/christmas with my sisters mom tonight. it was fun, got gift certificate to Jmall :) yay!!! and it must be said, that i love solstice mainly for the decorations... moons and stars, all about it!! gotta love it!

helped the mom wrap more gifts tonight, and i am beat, so i go to bed now!!

who was up from 3am to 7am this morning???

why you ask.. well Harlan woke up, and i put her in bed with me, but she was BURNING up.
so i held her for a while trying to decide if she was just hot or fever hot. she was fever hot, but it went away slowly...
so then i just watched her sleep for like an hour.
then moved to the couch, put her at one end me at another my feet blocking her from falling off.
then watched nick at nite, and just about the time i fell asleep at 6, she woke up and wanted milk
get the milk (3 cups ful this kid drank)
then finally at about 7 30 we layed back down to watch elmo....we fell asleep.
craziness i say....

just before 7, the fever came back... gave her some baby tylenol.... cured her right up, now shes all smily and happy and singing :)

well gotta go get ready for my dads xmas party!!

went out shoping yesterday, got all my shopping done EXCEPT i still have to get something for Tiffany.
I have no idea what to get her. so ya know Tiff if you read this it would be really nice if you would tell me what the hell you want
It was so nice to get out of the house.
Also watche Maria last night. she was so good. We watched Sleeping Beauty, and she went shopping with me, and we stopped at Mcdonalds. she had a good time.

Also have to say that i love my cousin lesley! she is the bestest!! Tuesday night she came to visit me while i was still sick and stuck in bed, and she brought me a reese peanut butter cup blizzard from the DQ. I was watching The Princess Bride which i watched every day while i was sick and in bed, anyway i made a comment that i would really like to read the book that the movie was based on... so last night she came to visit and she had bought me the book!! I dont know how she found it but she did! Thats why she is the best!! So now i have something to read... even though im not stuck in bed quite as much anymore.

so yep thats whats been going on.
