GoCardless become new headline sponsor of Cambridgeshire County League Senior divisions

Cambridgeshire FA announces new Cambridgeshire County League sponsor.

Cambridgeshire FA is proud to announce The sponsorship of Cambridgeshire County League Senior Divisions By GoCardless Limited.

This partnership will see GoCardless become sponsors of the Cambridgeshire County League Premier Division, Senior A Division and Senior B Division for the 2025/26 Season.

Grassroots football continues to thrive in Cambridgeshire and this partnership highlights GoCardless’s dedication to supporting it.

GoCardless understands the challenges clubs face in collecting regular subscriptions and one-off payments.  They offer an efficient solution through Direct Debit and open banking. Their platform offers automated payment collection, real-time visibility, and simplified reconciliation.  This provides treasurers and secretaries with greater control, a reduction in administration tasks and eliminates unpaid fees.

Olly Lyons, Senior Brand, Affiliates and Sponsorship Manager at GoCardless said: "At GoCardless, we're passionate about supporting local grassroots communities, and that's why we couldn't be more excited to sponsor the Cambridgeshire County League's Men's Premier, Senior A, and Senior B leagues. It's a privilege to support the local clubs and passionate volunteers who are the foundation of football in Cambridgeshire. We believe that by providing a simpler way to manage payments, we can help these clubs thrive, and we're ready to get started."

Chief Executive Joanne Knox said: "We're delighted to welcome GoCardless as the new title sponsor of the Cambridgeshire County League senior divisions. Their support is a huge benefit to the league and our member clubs. With GoCardless, we're looking forward to making it easier for our clubs and customers to manage payments."

Cambridgeshire County League Chairman Malcolm Mizon said: "We are delighted that GoCardless have agreed to support our three Senior Leagues. We look forward to working with them and thank them very much for their support of Grassroots Football."
