Raising Cane's coming to Owensboro

Fans of chicken fingers, rejoice.

The fast food chain Raising Cane's is coming to Owensboro.

Job postings say it's happening in the Fall of 2018.

We are reaching out to the company to find out where in Owensboro they will be opening.

Right now, the closest location to the Tri-State is in Louisville area. They have six Raising Cane's restaurants.

The idea for "Cane's" started as a business plan for a college project. The first one opened in 1996 near Louisiana State University.

Today, there are 370 locations across the U.S.

Their small menu includes chicken fingers, fries, slaw, drinks, toast, and their signature sauce.
