To make it more exciting, the entire army of bubbles sits on a spinning ring full of bubbles. Each time you shoot the bubbles, the bubble ring spins, thus changing the dynamics of your strategy in real time. Challenge your hunger and test your skills to shoot, pop and defeat the army of bubbles in Bubble Wars.. ## Challenging Game Modes ## Attack mode: Shoot colored bubbles at the bubble spinner circle and try to shrink it. If you get 3 or more colors in a row the bubbles burst and are destroyed. Otherwise the circle can grow again. Once it is large enough to hit you, the game ends. Defend modes: Shoot colored bubbles at a bubble spinning ring that surrounds you. If you get 3 or more colors in a row the bubbles burst are destroyed. Otherwise the ring can start shrinking around you. Thank you for playing Bubble Wars! 15.9 04/25/2025 phoneOS/padOS: This version of Bubble Wars re-enables Game Center leaderboards that were disabled many years ago, and switches progress from score to level. If you already have progress before this reset it is maintained within the app and will be uploaded to the new leaderboards soon. Older leaderboards will be maintained for a short while and then removed. Apple Watch: Progress is now kept when game ends. Ball bounces in Attack mode have small improvements to them. It combines the Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels, letting you switch the same game between them as desired while maintaining progress. It also adds a seconds medium difficulty, Medium 1, which mimics the pre-2016 game difficulty. Thank you for playing Bubble Wars! 11.7 07/26/2020 Corrected point/level information for some of the languages. 11.5 07/16/2020 Bubble Wars has been updated with two changes to improve game play: In Defend mode, the collision detection with the play has been improved and game ends based on a bubble landing right next to the shooter vs distance. So it is more consistent and predictable. It is also easier to see why a game ended. In all modes, the shot collision detection has been improved by about 16x, resulting in better shot landing. (This improvement is for player's shot only) Thank you for playing Bubble Wars! 11.4 03/27/2019 This update to Bubble Wars corrects an issue with incoming bubbles, improves text rendering and positioning in the app, and adds languages from the top countries where Bubble Wars is most popular. Thank you for playing Bubble Wars! 11.3 03/21/2019 It was possible for Bubble Wars to get confused and start in TV mode if device was in landscape orientation and device Rotation Lock setting was off. It has been changed to prevent this. Apologies to all impacted by that bug; future landscape supported will be looked into. Note: Games already in progress in the bad orientation may initially display incorrectly after this update but will self correct on next Play button push. 11.2 03/15/2019 Version 11.0 brought significant improvements to every aspect of the game and switched the game to Metal. This update makes a number of tweaks to the game including some adjustment to screen layout, fixing a delay that sometimes occurred when shots were fired, and improves the movement of incoming bubbles. Please note the new background animation and the color mark feature can both be configured using the settings button on main screen of the app. 11.1 03/11/2019 This version of Bubble Wars includes significant improvements to every aspect of the game. It also switches the app to Metal to improve GPU and battery performance. 11.0 03/07/2019
