ICE Terrorizing Navajo, Yaqui, and Shawnee in Arizona and Oklahoma

By Brenda Norrell, Censored News, Jan. 16, 2026

ICE is terrorizing Native Americans. A Navajo on his way to work in the Phoenix Valley was grabbed by ICE on Monday. A Pascua Yaqui tribal member grabbed near Tohono O'odham's San Xavier District, bordering Tucson, reveals how federal agents are terrorizing U.S. citizens and migrants in detention. In Oklahoma, Absentee Shawnee are now being harassed and detained by ICE agents.

In Minneapolis, protests continue at Fort Snelling, where Native Americans illegally arrested have been taken. Outside the Whipple building federal agents are firing tear gas and pepper balls as the protests continue.

Fort Snelling is the site of the removal and genocide of Dakota people.

Oglala Lakota President Refuses ICE Manipulation and Deal -- as Three Lakota Remain Disappeared at Fort Snelling

By Brenda Norrell, Censored News, Jan. 15, 2026

MINNEAPOLIS -- ICE's violence continued on Wednesday night with another ICE shooting. Three Lakotas arrested by ICE remain disappeared at Fort Snelling, the long time site of the genocide of Dakota people.

In the search for the three disappeared Lakotas, Oglala Lakota President Frank Star Comes Out says he refuses to cut a deal with ICE, which ICE is demanding to release more information.

Meanwhile, a whistleblower has leaked the secret ICE operations underway -- including the targeting of activists, recruiting informants in jail, and 'Operation A' exploiting migrants for intelligence.

Both the Tohono O'odham Nation government, and Navajo President Buu Nygren, play roles by recruiting and promoting ICE agents. -- Censored News.

MINNEAPOLIS: Oglala Lakota Nation Demands Release of Lakotas Imprisoned in  Fort Snelling, Minnesota

Three Lakotas are imprisoned at Fort Snelling after being seized by ICE in Minneapolis. Fort Snelling is the site of removal and genocide of Dakota people. The Oglala Sioux Tribe has only been given the first names of the three who remain imprisoned in this clear violation of law and Treaties.

Oglala Sioux Tribe Issues Treaty-Based Demand for Immediate Federal Action
Following ICE Detention of Tribal Citizens

“The irony is not lost on us,” said Star Comes Out. “Lakota citizens who are reported to be held at Fort Snelling — a site forever tied to the Dakota 38+2 — underscores why federal treaty obligations and federal accountability matter today, not just in history.” -- Oglala President Frank Star Comes Out

By Oglala Sioux Tribe, Censored News, Jan. 13, 2026

“This is not a misunderstanding or an enforcement discretion issue," President Star Comes Out stated. "This is a treaty violation. Treaties are not optional. Sovereignty is not conditional. Our citizens are not negotiable."
