We’re entering an exciting growth phase — and we’re looking for a Sales Engineer to help us build on our success.
THE ROLE
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by developing relationships with new and existing customers across the aerospace, defence, power and transport sectors.
You’ll work closely with our engineering and production teams to translate complex technical requirements into commercially sound solutions that deliver real value for clients.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:
- Building and managing relationships with customers and prospects
- Understanding detailed engineering and manufacturing requirements
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities in target industries
- Preparing and presenting proposals with technical and commercial insight
- Working collaboratively with production to ensure projects run smoothly
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking someone who combines technical knowledge with a natural ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
Essential:
- Experience in a sales or business development role within engineering or manufacturing
- Knowledge of precision machining and CNC processes
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator who can engage with engineers and procurement professionals alike
Desirable:
- Experience in aerospace, defence, power, or transport industries
- Understanding of quality and documentation requirements (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
- Ability to spot opportunities and convert technical conversations into commercial wins
