FEATURED PROJECTCustom STL Slicer SoftwareDuring the first semester of my Master's program, I created a custom STL slicer for a Hyrel 3D printer. As my research involved creating continuously graded filament, and the Hyrel printer came with no software support for actively mixing two metal inks together, I needed to write software to specify the ratio of metal inks for the STL. My code takes a gradient function and a STL file as inputs and outputs corresponding G-CODE for the Hyrel 3D printer.
