Hello, fly-by posting here.

I got a 2:1; after a bit of pouting that I didn't get that extra 1% I'm actually quite proud of myself. Check me out, I'm a graduate, bitches! Currently back in Leicester and will remain there till next September, when, fingers crossed, I'll be doing a Masters. Anyone know much about UCL/Uni of Nottingham/Edinburgh Napier?

I have been completely AWOL for months (even for me) due to some really shitty dad stuff which I probably wont be writing about (seriously, my life belongs on Jeremy Kyle), but basically - hello, I'm here now. If you haven't lost complete faith in me you should poke me on various messenger thingies. Yes, I'm going to turn them on and everything! Shock!

Hope everyone is well. I've been stealth reading but feel free to regale me with tales of Things and Stuff in the comments.

Silly I know.

Knows all: Argh, I can't remember the name of the artist who drew this.
Because I have a lot of writers, fanartists, fanmixers and betas on my flist:

More Information

15k on an AU fic for the writers. Two bits of art (can be music mixes) for the artists. Beta'ing and general encouragement also needed. Sooooo.......anyone interested?

I signed up for art, cheerleading and beta'ing. Pretty sure I'll regret the latter, but, eh. Let the gay penguins of the world be an example to the rest of you.

In 2005 the German zoo attempted to test sexual orientation of homosexual penguins. According to the BBC, "Three pairs of male penguins had been seen attempting to mate with each other and trying to hatch offspring from stones." The zoo tried to fly in female penguins to get the males to mate with them, but gay rights activists protested, and the zoo decided to see if the male penguins really could make a family on their own.

So the zoo went ahead and gave the aquatic birds an abandoned egg to rear:

"Z and Vielpunkt, both males, gladly accepted their 'Easter gift' and got straight down to raising it," said a zoo statement.

Fast forward to today, and you have a healthy and happy baby chick ready for its own sitcom (I'm going to call it, Two And A Half Penguins.)

The fathers have been behaving, "just as you would expect a heterosexual couple to do. The two happy fathers spend their days attentively protecting, caring for and feeding their adopted offspring."

Penguins, the forward thinking socially embracing animals of tomorrow.

The only way this story could be more relevant to my interests is if one of them pulled a cake from behind its flipper.
