I realised recently that I've become so caught up in the technological convenience that is THE MODERN WORLD, that I've probably not written out a full paragraph in several years. Not a real one. One that didn't end in an emoji, you know?

And I'm not sure that's terribly healthy. Also quite shit for the future of human language. Probably. I'm pretty sure that's how Stephen Fry would view it.

Hello, fly-by posting here.

I got a 2:1; after a bit of pouting that I didn't get that extra 1% I'm actually quite proud of myself. Check me out, I'm a graduate, bitches! Currently back in Leicester and will remain there till next September, when, fingers crossed, I'll be doing a Masters. Anyone know much about UCL/Uni of Nottingham/Edinburgh Napier?

I have been completely AWOL for months (even for me) due to some really shitty dad stuff which I probably wont be writing about (seriously, my life belongs on Jeremy Kyle), but basically - hello, I'm here now. Default: It's a lady called Rabbit, she's a Suicide girl. She used to be wonderfully curvy and her photoshoots were really playful and quirky, but then she lost loads of weight and started mostly doing Myspace-style pouty poses. Sigh. I suppose she's happy at least?

Grey: Because I don't like to use an inappropriate or cliched icon when I'm replying to people who have just posted about difficult or upsetting situations. It's grey because it doesn't communicate anything that I haven't expressly meant to communicate. Silly I know.

Absurdist Protest Signs

Westboro Baptist Church showed up to protest in front of Twitter’s San Francisco office on Thursday, but found themselves severely outnumbered by a crowd of absurdist pranksters. WBC’s hate-promoting signs were answered by multiple signs of randomness, nonsensical yelling, and even a unicorn. A portable stereo blared Lady GaGa, while press and people passing by ignored the WBC signs and took pictures and videos of the more entertaining signs. I was also there and turned on the video camera while holding my sign.

I am fully prepared to stick with Caprica, but where are all the strong characters? Where's the Starbuck to piss me off within 30 seconds of being introduced to her? Where's the Roslin to root for when her life is suddenly thrown off kilter? Seriously, some soon-to-be evil genius and his dead daughter, is that all we get?

It's not bad exactly, but it's certainly not engrossing stuff. In fact at the moment it just kinda feels like Gossip Girl gone Sci Fi.
